We got catering from Cajun Kate's and it was AMAZING!!! My family & friends couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was. The gator sausage is a must and the jambalaya is spot on! I cannot say enough about how fantastic the food was, how there was plenty of it (no one left hungry), and how easy the whole process was from planning to plates! Totally recommend checking this place out for catering or simply a yummy lunch. New Orleans is one of my favorite places and the food from Cajun Kate's had everyone feeling like they were going down the bayou ⚜️ Thank you Kate & Don!!
Cajun Kate’s is the Cajun-Fried goodness that is a guilty pleasure for my family. My go-to is gator po’ boy with spicy beans (Loup Garou) but their frog legs (when available) and gumbos (which vary in terms of protein) are top notch.I don’t know any alternative for New Orleans style food in Wilmington and I’m not sure there needs to be. This place hits all the marks. Make sure you’re hungry though; even a half sandwich leaves me very full.
We stopped in for dinner. We tried two versions of gumbo, tomato soup, boudin balls, hush puppies, catfish strips, and a po'boy. All the food was really good. The restaurant is small but nice. Service was very good. You order at the counter and they call you when your food is ready. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely go back.
I used to work across the street from Cajun Kate's and every other Friday (paydays) was our office treat day. Now I live in a different state but be sure to visit whenever I go home. The food is always freshly cooked and GREAT!!! Staff always make effort to acknowledge everyone coming in and always with a smile. 5☆ food and service everytime.
This place is very unique! Food is amazing, customer service is excellent!, the FLAVOR of the food is perfect! Pricey but worth it
The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, and you can tell they truly love what they do! We placed a large order for our daughter’s birthday this past weekend, & everything turned out absolutely PERFECT! It’s so hard to pick a favorite item off of the menu, because everything is THAT good!! We can’t wait to go back!!! Thanks again!
Feeling under the weather today and my better half grabbed me some tomato soup and Cajun catfish. It was the best I’ve ever had!!!!
This place is amazing. I've been many times and it's always 100% on point every time.The chef (I'm sorry i don't know his name) is a really nice guy. Cares about his food and it really shows. The freshness and quality is really great. I can't speak highly enough of Cajun Kate's, if you haven't been you have to go.
Great food , crawfish pie excellent, their specials are always the best , and I love the red beans. The staff always friendly . Highly reccomend.
Good food, good service. Lots of seafood and lots of fried things, but in a good way.
