Very Very Disappointed!!!!! I requested to have extra garlic butter topping applied and some on side.Barley any rolls are dry.Even asked About the extra when I Left.Yea Yea it's in there.Awful ?!
We have enjoyed the pizza twice-both times take out. The sauce is simple and more Italian than Italian-American. It has less of the heavy seasonings and allows the food to speak, instead of covering it with oregano, etc. The second time we added fries to the order and they were very good. One of the people in our group felt the dough was a little floppy. It could be crisped up a bit, but that shouldn't deter you from trying it. The price for two pizzas is very reasonable!
Traveling from out of state to find a great pizza shop, I came across Cafe Valentina off a suggestion from family in the area. I loved it!We ordered two large cheese pizzas and two orders of garlic rolls.Pizza is New York style and the dough is made fresh and went well with the cheese and sauce. No plates needed, just grab a slice, fold it over and consume, then repeat.The rolls were covered in garlic & oil. Again dough was very well made.Price was inexpensive as everything mentioned was less then $30. This is the place to go!Service was quick for our order on a Saturday.
I started going here when I first moved to Delaware 8 years ago. Being from New York, it was mandatory for my family to find a pizza place that met our New York standards. If you hate Dominos and Papa John’s and want real pizza, this is your destination.Cafe Valentina is my #1 recommendation for pizza in the area. They have a great menu selection and a cozy dining room.Since I moved out of that neighborhood I haven’t been there and I miss it.
We just discovered this restaurant and wish we had known about it sooner. Customer service is outstanding. Kacey assisted us with special dietary needs and Valentina took our take-out order and made sure everything was perfect. They made us feel like extremely valued customers. The food was fresh and delicious and the garlic rolls are exceptional. It is worth driving out of your way for the wonderful food and service.
Fantastic cheesesteaks!!! I love the local feel. Don't let the strip mall locale dissuade you from going; you step inside and you will swear you just walked in off a Philly street. Staff is very helpful and plenty of regular customers give it a great vibe. Steps up to dining area and corridor to counter is narrow, so it's not exactly wheelchair accessible. I try to go every time we visit Wilmington and I will go back for another cheesesteak!
Excellent cuisine. I highly recommend the cheese steaks. The owner of Cafe Valentina is consistently checking on customer requests.In addition; the whole staff is exceeding polite. This restaurant I highly recommend .
