Great spot for quality food, service, and atmosphere. Highly suggest the cheeseboard (best quality for the $) and the chicken salad and Turkey club. Walk around town after and enjoy the sights ☺️

Was able to be seated without reservations! Of course we had to have a cup of mushroom soup. The poached pears on the salad were very delicious...wish there were more on the salad! Staff were all pleasant. Will definitely stop in again next time we're in the area

Food good as usual. Front door staff need lessons in etiquette. When someone turns up at 4.30pm without reservation and bar area has plenty of empty tables, please don't be snooty and say they are reserved. The 'reserved' tables were still empty at 5.30pm. there are diplomatic ways to approach customers and that day would make excellent example of how NOT to treat customers.

The highlight of dining experience at Buckley's was out waitress, Jennifer. We had called ahead and mentioned my daughter's egg allergy when I made the reservation. When we arrived (3 weeks after I'd called), Jennifer handed my daughter a menu that she personally had marked up with all the items that didn't contain eggs and that were safe for my daughter to eat!!!! This made ordering super easy for us. We shared the Popcorn Chicken appetizer, my daughter had the filet mignon, and I had the Steak Frites - all cooked perfectly and super tasty! I had the granny smith apple crisp with vanilla ice cream for dessert - REALLY good!!!! The only reason for the four instead of five stars is that we returned the next day and our experience wasn't quite that good (still okay, but our waitress the second day lacked enthusiasm and the fish taco wrap was a bit boring).

Had dinner here tonight with my wife, sister, and BIL. Located near Winterthur, the area we have been visiting. Nice decor, good service, with a fairly large menu, I had the turkey burger with coleslaw, my wife had the quinoa burger with fries. Everything was tasty. My wife sampled the Mushroom soup and she felt it was very good (this area is famous for its mushrooms). She also liked her Chardonay. Service was good, prices were ok. Overall, a good place to have dinner!

great atmosphere in dining area and a nice large bar

Buckley's is an old favorite. Whether in the pub or the dining room, the food and service are good. Try the local favorites and homemade desserts.

I believe they need to stagger the seating of customers. Then kitchen get overwhelmed with orders. The waitress we had needs to get her head in the game. 1. App ticket time was 25 min 2 Entree ticket time 4 min 3. No manager in sight in dinning room 4. Tables getting food before earlier diners 5. Appetizer very good. Nice and hot 6. Entrees not hot. I believe these Sat in the window waiting for us to eat the app. 7. Strange portion sizes French dip 2x beef than the deconstructed surf and turf. 8. Handed wrong check

Four of us went to Buckley's Tavern for dinner. Despite the name (tavern), they have a great menu. We tried the clams and linguini, the crab Cobb salad, and the Greek salad. All the food was really good. Service likewise. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating was very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable, clean, well maintained. Mushroom Soup, Mango Fish Taco Rap, Chef HBs Meatloaf, Rhode Island Calamari were great. Portions and pricing very good. Waitress was very professional and attentive. We will be going back!
