The food is great! th we service is awesome

Great grilled shrimp and wedge salad!

The service was really nice. Always smiling and helpful. All the food was great. The Cod Sandwich, Calamari and Texas Shrimp were very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place.

Party of 12 so 18% gratuity was included. Many drinks and appetizers in addition to the entrees so when the itemize bill came it was quite long. Took time to review the details and discovered that I had been double charged for some items. Additionally the gratuity that was added was 40%, not 18% as advertised. Brought this to the attention of management who claimed it was a computer problem. Sounds fishy to me. Was it a computer issue or were they banking on the possibility that I would not check the bill?

When in Wilmington DE, where should you eat? You are in a coastal city, with a beautiful Riverfront trail called Riverwalk. Let’s eat along the river front. Tap Tap Tap and google presents some wonderful choices. Big Fish Grill being among the best rated. Oh! And it has a 2 Dollar Sign ($) rating for the approximate expense for this restaurant. Perfect! Seafood in my budget range. Big Fish (BFG) first sets a little cracker plate down. Crackers? Yes, but it’s not about the crackers, it’s about the fish spread. Nice start BFG. Then came the Cream of Crab Bisque. It was excellent. I highly recommend it if you enjoy Bisques. So, now let’s get ready for the main attraction, the reason for choosing a Seafood Restaurant. I ordered the Lobster & Shrimp Fra Diavolo. Is there lots of lobster…Yes…is there lots of shrimp…Yes. The angel hair pasta and sauce could pass for decent. I think if I was to make it myself, I would choose a different pasta like straight up spaghetti as angel hair pasta has tendencies to clump as it awaits consumption. The shrimp were plump and sizeable, not over cooked. The lobster on the other hand must have been triple cooked. I get it because it needs to be boiled, then stuffed, then baked, but if you overheat/cook Lobster it gets hard, sticks to the shell, and plucks out like pulled pork. This! This is where BFG falls down a little. Please remember this is a two (2$) dollar rated restaurant so I shouldn’t be so picky. Dessert picked me back up and we headed toward the mountain top of my experience. The BFG specialty of Peanut Butter Pie was excellent! Then the check. Whooaaa! Inflation? Dollar Sign rating delay? Just be careful out there diners; wear your pacemaker, bring your oxygen tank, lug along your defibrillator, eating out is getting pricey.

Great atmosphere and even greater food. My family and I were all trying bites of eachothers food and enjoying all of it. One of us was having a birthday and they brought out a surprise cup of ice cream for her at the end of our dinner. Our waitress was so nice and was very attentive. One of the waitresses was even kind enough to take pictures for us. The outside eating area looked nice but it was too chilly to sit out there the day we went. You can even go on a river walk. They also have a sushi and sashimi bar. The mixed drinks were very good and a bit strong. My swordfish with shrimp rissoto and steamed broccoli was so delicious and I shared the jambalaya and that was great too. So many great choices to choose from.

My first time at the Big Fish Grill but it will not be the last time!! Fast seating we had not to have to wait. Food from Appetizer to Entree and Dessert was very good our server Blake was very attentive and had a great personality which made our visit even more special.

When I first arrived in Wilmington for business 3 weeks ago this was the first place I eat, and it was a wonderful experience. Have brought other friends twice in the past week and had a very good meal. As I leave tomorrow, I thought I'd have one last meal here. As it is Easter Sunday they had some sort of buffet setup but no one mentioned to me what or how much this option was. I order a special Bloody Mary that was supposed to include a crab claw but it was a very plain BM with a couple of olives! Ordered crab cakes and when my order came all the sides were wrong. Then when my bill came it included a 20% tip. ?????

My order was disappointing fir the price. Salad with crabcake and pasta dish was $62.00 crabcake was more like crab ball

If you're looking for a nice piece of fresh fish, this is the place for you. Salmon cooked perfectly and mahi mahi seasoned nicely.
