They had a nice special so we ventured back to Bertuccis Wilmington after a 15 year absence. The food was solid for a chain Italian restaurant, the staff was excellent. While the staff was stretched due to the special for the night, they were attentive and timely. Special shout out to our server (and assistant manager) Nellie.
The '80s night menu was awesome the music my sister and I and my daughter enjoyed it Lee was an awesome waiter! And Lacey was a good help too. The assistant manager was a pleasure to talk with! We will be back pizza pasta salad cannolis everything was fresh and tasty service was awesome!!
My dining experience was nothing short of amazing at Bertucci’s. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very impressive. There were two wonderful and very professional hostesses. And last but not least, the manager Matthew was so helpful with answering our questions about some menu items. With all negativity going on in the world since the pandemic. It really means a lot to have inviting managers service you. Thanks Matthew for such a great Friday dining experience at Bertucci’s. I would highly recommend??
Kayla was an excellent server. Portion size was great as was taste.
Mother's Day reservation ruined after driving from Maryland to spend the day with my Mother in law. There for an hour and 10 minutes before the last entree was brought out. The manager was understanding and empathetic and we were able to encourage our waiter. Would love to give them another chance to correct the experience.
Busier than normal but service from Ryan was excellent. Food very good and not a long wait.
The waiter was good even with continuously bringing the wrong food. Out of 5 people only 2 ate. Entree came before appetizers. The waiter assured us 3 that our food would be out soon 4-5 different times. Asked if we would like anything for the long waiter (assumed as complementary) then charged us for it. My food came to the table cold so I sent it back. The 4th person got their food 15mins or so after me it was just warm. The 5th person's food took a total 1hr and 10mins which was also warm. We were told that only 2 out of 8 cooks showed up because nobody wants to work anymore. The restaurant wasn't extremely packed or busy for any of this to happen. To top it off it was mother's day and the mother of the party was extremely disappointed. Also the waiter handed bill to the mother when all she asked for was a to-go boxes. We will never patronize that establishment again.
Went to pick up a take-out order. Waited 10 past when told it was due to be ready while watching 11, yes counted them, workers standing around eating pasta out of a big bowl with their fingers. Not 1 inquired why I was there waiting at the host counter. Finally asked to see a manager, waited another 5 for him to come from the back. Was informed my food "collapsed" and had to be remade. What???? Then spotted a worker with dreadlocks with NO hairnet or covering making pasta. Gross. Absolute last time I'll go there or order from there. I guess I'm not the only 1. There were about 4-6 people in the whole restaurant, on a Saturday evening. Shame. Get it together.
This makes me sad to say, but we just had one of the worst dining experience ever. Our server struggled to take our order, never brought our drinks, and we had to ask over and over. We waited 45 minutes with no food before they realized they never put in our order. When food did come, it was wrong. It was not busy and there was no sign of management. Dirty dishes were left on other tables that were never cleared. This used to be a good location, but they are struggling to find competent help. Skip this place until it is under new management.
Like many places there seemed to be less staff than they probably needed. We had to wait a while for someone to come seat us and they weren’t busy at all. But after seated service was excellent.
