The food & drinks are really quite good— loved the tuna cheesesteak.. However the service was bad unlike any bar I’ve been to. A taller man behind the bar was openly annoyed, condescending and talking to his coworkers about how he wanted to “kill us” while being extremely rude to our entire party. We brought a party of 16 in to celebrate my friends engagement and tipped super well but the service made us all uncomfortable and I’m not sure i would return based on the atmosphere. They also threw away my leftovers after I asked for a box for them but then they were nice enough to make me a new one. Mixed bag over there but I think the food and the nicer staff (blonde woman bartender was super sweet) redeem the otherwise uncalled for service at the bar
Its a "Tiki Bar" setting. With that expectation, a lively setting on a Late-Spring-to-Summer Rehoboth evening and you may enjoy just that alone. Service for that night was good. Our server, she was fast, and attentive. She checked back on our table more than several times =) Raw Oysters (Rehoboth) were good, Crab Mac/Cheese, etc. Reliable, tasty food for the setting. Z Ok for Family with kids:Yes Service:9/10 Food for Bar Setting:7.5/10 Atmosphere:9/10
Wonderful place to get refreshed... steps from the boardwalk and beach. Our server was excellent. Being that Zogg's is known for their rum drinks, I ordered the Ziggy Marley - Parrot Bay Pineapple Rum, Parrot Bay Mango Rum, Mango Juice, Ginger, Gosling's 151 floater. That drink was off-the-chain tasty... so good I had more than one. ? Hope you're also hungry because the portions are huge. I had a delicious Shrimp Po Boy... she ordered the pulled pork tacos. Zogg's has been around for awhile and you know why... they're that good! I'll be back!
Was enjoying a walk around the boardwalk at Rehoboth beach, walked up one of the side streets to see what restaurants, bars and shops there were to check out. Saw the menu at Zogg's and decided to check them out. This place has a beach shack vibe to the restaurant,which was nice considering it's right by the beach. The staff was friendly and kind and explained the menu well when asking them questions.Ordered the beer battered cod tacos (on special) jerk grouper tacos and the tuna steak and cheese. The cod tacos were great with the mango jalapeno slaw and raspberry sauce, upgraded for a side of Mac and cheese which was ok. The Jerk tacos were very good as well it came topped with romaine lettuce and tomato pickled red onions and a spicy mayo, got it with a side of their old bay chips which had a good amount of old bay spice but where a little soft, was hoping for a crispy chips here. The tuna cheese steak was also great served on a sesame sub roll that was toasted nicely had fresh cooked tuna with avocado, spices, gouda cheese and spicy mayo, had a side of the mango jalapeno slaw it was a light tasting slaw wish it had more mango and jalapeno and vinegar in it. Zogg's overall was a great experience and definitely want to go back and try more of their menu.
Service: phenomenal, cannot say anything better ! Food was delivered quickly, server was amazing ?Rehoboth oyster- omg , salty & just the best. They make their own cocktail with a lot of horseradish ? it’s tasty and has a great kick !Calamari- this is the real deal !! They’re freshly fried calamari served with fried jalapeños and an amazing wasabi sauceLoved this place !
First off, loved our waitress Taylor. She was very prompt and was available anytime throughout our lunch. Food was great, drinks were fantastic and her service was phenomenal. Started with the ceaser salad and finished with the pulled jerk chicken taco. We also orders oysters, tuna tacos and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos we good but could have used a little more flavor. The tuna tacos were on point. They had great music playing setting the vibe and they are pet friendly!! I can not wait to come again!!
Fried Grouper app was super good. Mussels were also delicious. Fish and chips were meh. The waitress was fabulous and was clearing busting her butt ?. Live music on a Friday, atmosphere was totally chill and the musician was cranking out tunes that the bar was feeling.
We travel to Rehoboth Beach several times a year no visit is complete without a meal at Zoggs! The Crab dip in a bread bowl is a true delight! Our family loves to share this appetizer and talk about the days adventures. Biggest selection of Rum and rum drinks north of the Caribbean. My favorites are the Caribbean Jerk Burger and the Jalepeno Queso Burger! My daughter loves the Jerk Chicken Skewers! The Raw bar and the fresh shucked Oysters such a treat.

I’ve wanted to eat here for years. It is close to my hotel and I’ve always dug the Tiki scene. True. Zogg’s reviews haven’t been unfavorable to date, but I ignored what I read and wanted experience it myself. Stupid! Why did I break my rule. Everything I read came true. To those who wish to grab a tropical libation or a mug of suds with a plate of fries in a tropical setting, you’re golden! The fries are quite good and the tunes add to the setting. If you plan on a real meal - STOP! I was intimated by my Po Boy Shrimp sandwich. The bread was so big and It took me a while to finally get to the shrimp piled in the middle of this long roll. Lots of lettuce with as scoopful of shrimp hiding within the pile. My Sister-in-law grilled chicken sandwich was very dry and my Mom’s Taco was uneditable - raw onions and a weird mixture of veggies. She left it uneaten. I wish she complained about it. I took a bite of it and understand her displeasure. I so wanted to like this place place, but really…easy food made uneatable...hardly worth a return visit. Wish I didn’t decided to eat here.
