We just happen to pick this place for lunch and so glad we did! The food is fabulous...have never had Mexican food that was so amazing I had the Chicken Tinga Dilla (quesadilla) and my guy Ed had the Beef Shorty Dilla. Both were delicious and my margarita was the best I had from Bethany to Rehoboth. The service from entire staff was great...but we really loved Charles...so much that we went back the next day to have the food again before we came back to Pittsburgh. We will be back!
For context, I came in here with a party of 9 on a family vacation to the beach. Service was overall average or below. The staff seemed very disorganized during the whole process. Everyone's Drinks came in after about 20 minutes. Half of the food took another 15 minutes. The rest came another 15 minutes later. The foods quality was average to good. Tacos were disappointing taste wise. Shells easily fell apart. Found what seems to be several white hairs inside the tacos in the pic. The price was overall not worth it for quality or quantity. Not sure when or even if we will go again.
Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday about 1:45 pm. Found a table easily, food arrived quickly after ordering via QR code. Ordering system is pretty slick. Food was delicious! The chicken quesadilla was one of the best I've ever had. Only confusing part was that you could order salsa but no chips came with it (menu didn't say that, we just assumed). Kids' hot dog was HUGE. Service was good. Entryway smelled but couldn't tell inside the actual restaurant.
Far from bad, and definitely better than something like Taco Bell, but bland. The portions are definitely large. Ask for hot sauce. Again, not bad, just not worth a return visit.
Paid 7 dollars for a buffalo shrimp taco. It had really hard burnt cheese wrapped around 3…. 3 small pieces of shrimp, the corn tortillas are not good. Paid 6 dollars for a beer battered Baja fish taco and it was the smallest amount of fish I seen in a taco. I couldn’t even finish the buffalo shrimp taco it was so gross. Paid 40 dollars for a portion of food that didn’t even half fill my family. Insanity. The taco truck was better. I won’t be returning since the opening of the restaurant and I won’t recommend the restaurant to anyone, in fact. I’ll have to tell people it’s not worth the go. I explained to a staff member here the problem I had with my shrimp taco, his response… “yeah we do things weird here man, sorry about that” that was it..
Taquitos were amazing. Fries were cold when they came out and cheese was congealed. Margaritas were mostly mix. Fish taco was bland. Veggie bowls and burritos were very good. Overall, would return. Probably wouldn’t order the alcohol again tho
I found this restaurant on google, it was our first time trying on 6/5/22. No one greeted us at the door to let us know that you can just sit and use a barcode. When we sat we ordered our food, food came out quickly, but unfortunately there was a hair in my food. I tried to catch the waitress down but she took off so fast. So, I got up and took it up to let them know. I was offered a new one and that I would be refunded due to the hair. I tried not to cause a scene. I noticed no hair nets or beard nets on the employees in the kitchens. By the time I got my food my family was ready to go. I was nervous to eat the food. I never got any refund like I was told.. At this point it’s whatever. There are Plenty of other restaurants in the area I can go too when in town. We just didn’t have a great experience for our first time.
Finally got to check out the actual restaurant, and glad we did. Great rock n roll vibe inside with little surprises along the way, like the pop vinyls and action figures inside the booth to the completely graffitied urinal! Also found myself checking out every picture on the walls in the bathroom to see how many artists I could name. We sat at a table up in the "bar" area, and it had it's own different feel to the atmosphere. The food was excellent, everything tasted fresh and it was served quickly. And very reasonably priced.
These guys just turned up the volume with their new location! The tacos seem even more Amazing than before. The creative update to the space, expanded menu, fun bar are really impressive. Their food was top notch with just the truck! You HAVE to stop here to enjoy. If you are short on time, swing through the updated drive thru. Seriously the food flavors are Amazing. Thanks for taking a risk on the old school Burger King. ❤️??
