We stopped in after recommendations on the I LOVE LEWES Facebook page , the restaurant so different and pretty … I had the Kaisy with plum compote and whipped cream and my husband had a breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage and carmelized onions ! Cappuccino was delicious as well ! We will be back and I think a great place to bring visitors if u r a local.
The breakfast was prepared fast and absolutely delicious. This is a top selection destination in Rehoboth and surround.
Don't dare go during off-peak times, they might just throw you a "kaisy" pancake from the microwave instead of the griddle
What a great discovery! The owner is delightful and explained their signature kaisy cake. it was so good! we also got smoked salmon sandwiches, latkes, and coffees. highly recommend! it's a refreshing change from all the fried beach food.
We grabbed breakfast there and the breakfast sandwiches were seriously the best I ever had. Their specialty is this little creation called Kaiserschmarrn or Kaisy for short. It is this delightful, savory treat that is kind of like a cake, muffin and a pancake combined. Words really don't do this treat justice. We stop in on every trip to Rehoboth beach. If you have never grabbed food here you really need to be a better friend to yourself!

Right on Rehoboth Avenue is this little gem of the place. We visited in the off season, and I can only imagine how crowded it is in the summer. Probably worth the wait. Very nice cappuccino in which they are happy to put your additions in before the foam. This place specializes in the Austrian delight called kaiserschmarrn. There is a whole story to read about it on the wall. It's a pancake crepe hybrid that doesn't even require syrup or extras, but you can certainly get those. Don't even ask about the calories. It is delicious. Daughter had the smoked salmon sandwich and hubby had quiche. It was good but it was microwaved. If you have to reheat, it should be in an oven. Same goes for the latkes, which were finely shredded but clearly not fresh. It was a holiday weekend in the offseason, and the hours were a bit wonky and they were clearly understaffed. But at full staff and made fresh, this place would be hard to beat and is not your typical resort stop. Worth making an extra stop for Kaisy's!
Tried these delicious kaisys for breakfast while we were in town for a wedding. Unique and delicious, great service, fair pricing. You get to pick your own combination of fruits and meats for toppings!
The kaisy is delicious like the best bread pudding EVER! The kaiserino is fancy hot chocolate with espresso - so good! And quiches are delicious. The owners are friendly and helpful- and the staff makes everything fresh!
