We went there today because of the special Olympics fund raiser....wow, what a disappointment. Food was terrible...club sandwiches had no bacon or dressing on them...the portobello bowl had nothing at all with it...menu says get any sub as bowl. We'll the portobello was just mushrooms and cheese, absolutely nothing else. 30.00 to a goid cause....now I have to cook dinner.
They have had some clear staffing issues lately, which made this a 4* vs a 5* because for a very long time this was my go to place if I wanted a sub/sandwich, it is still high up there, just a little lower.
only ordered from twice in the past 3 years and both times our order has had something missing food is lack luster compared to all the other shops near by. if your considering this, try looking into any of the multiple sandwich shops in the area.
15 min late on our online order for pick up, ran out of the bread that was requested. They gave us an expired coupon for a free sub at a different location than the one we ordered from.
I ordered a veggie sub on 11/7, about 3:00pm. When I got to my destination, 29 miles away, it was a ham sub. I tried to call Jersey Mike's and no one answered. So I discarded the sandwich. No one eats pork or beef. I will be back to Rehoboth Beach in a week.
jersey mikes was a phenomenal experience, you need to give your employee Kiran a raise, he went above and beyond, made me a killer #13, and gotta have it mikes way!
I also left a review on Yelp as well. I cannot believe this. Such a disappointment. I will never spend another dollar in a Jersey Mikes again. This store is dirty, and the staff. I mean the picture speaks for itself. I cannot believe this is how Jersey Mikes in Jersey is allowing there franchisees to be. Such a disgrace! Your district manager John seeing that is what I was told his name was, is a disgrace for allowing this type of behavior. He probably dresses like a scumbag himself. I mean look at the manager. No wonder your staff is wearing nothing but a undershirt behind the counter and making peoples food at that. I will never give the locations in Delaware another cent of mine.
Visiting Delaware's Jersey Mike's. Ordered roast beef sub...excellent rare roast beef thinly sliced...made in a couple of minutes...with fresh lettuce and tomatoes, onions on a very fresh roll. Perfect!
They don’t answer their phone to place an order ahead of time. The one guy was outside smoking and then came in. Never saw him wash his hands. Never asked if I wanted mayonnaise on the bread or oil and vinegar. Terrible service. Perhaps a refresher course in how to make a sandwich would help.
Amazing sandwiches with great employees. General manager Paul is always so friendly and jumps in and helps wherever needs it.
