Had breakfast for dinner at this IHOP recently. Food was prepared quickly, as ordered and service provided by waitress was great.
The restaurant looked nice. Staff was friendly and nice. The only downside was our order got messed up. We ordered vegetarian omelets, but received something with meat which we didn't know till we ate some portion of the food and got to meats...... of course we received many apologies and got the omelets we ordered....but when you don't eat those meats and you eat in error still makes you feel weird.Other than that the rest was good.
They were quick with the meals. The dinner was very well maintained and clean. R server went out of her way to accommodate us.
muy buena atencion comida caliente
Always a good place to eat breakfast. Service is a little tough around the edges but everyone is experiencing that little bonus from our past 2 years. Good pancakes as expected I got the T bone and it was pretty good this past visit.
Food is always good. Waitress was wonderful. She was by herself doing greeter, Waitress. And she smiled and was just lovely.
Seated fast, crowed dining room. Pleasant service, good food. Always stop at this location when going to Rehoboth Beach. Grilled chicken was tender and flavorful. 2x2x2x2 always a great deal. And the dulce de leches pancakes were great and the winter wonderland pancakes were just as pictured on tv!!
When we ordered, our food all came out together, the appetizer plate and the entrees. All except the side of hash browns and side of bacon. We never received the bacon, and the hash browns came a couple minutes later but they were cold already, and there was no ketchup? The sauce we asked for didn't come with the appetizer platter, so we had to ask again for it to be brought. I'm assuming the appetizers mostly come frozen but the cheese sticks were so light that the breading was barely warm, and they were just gross. Onion rings, onion inside was mushy. Chicken was good though. Crepes were good as well but the big steak was mostly hash browns with a sprinkling of the other ingredients. Also weird that a hash brown omelette comes with a side of hash brown? Half way through our meal (maybe 10 minutes later TOPS) the bill was dropped at our table. We were there 30 minutes total because we were rushed through every section of a food experience. When she dropped the bill, she didn't refill my drink or even ask, and then she didnt come back for our card while we sat there not eating the rest of the mediocre food. Finally, we went to the register at the front desk, figuring maybe we just pay there. The manager (F) asked what we needed and fixed our bill when I explained we were never given the bacon listed on our bill. Then she said I'll be right back, and just left..several minutes later while she chatted with other people, we finally asked the hostess how we pay our bill and she said at the table. We went to walk back and the manager finally reappeared, apologizing because people kept pulling her in different directions. As a good service worker of 19 years I don't understand why you would stop midway helping a customer and just walk away..but each to their own I guess? Finally she let us pay so we could leave. Overall, as someone who has worked so long in food service, I was very disappointed and just wish I could spend a week retraining the employees how to treat customers like guests, rather than prisoners in a jail food line. I would have been happy paying for the mediocre food if I hadn't felt so unwelcome and confused at the behavior of the staff.
Rushed from the start. All our food arrived at different times( entree first, then appetizer, and eventually our sides) some food never came. The tables had nothing on them(no salt/pepper, no syrup no ketchup.) Food did arrive quickly, however our bill also came with the first wave, so we felt rushed to leave. I understand businesses are short staffed but you should do the best you can to keep your business.
They have a really good five and six dollar menus that has always been worth the money but as far as the breakfast goes, not good at all. And they definitely don’t know how to cook a steak. The other menu items that we ordered didn’t really come with much meat like the omelette for instants, a big regret.
