Always yummy!! It’s always fresh & the portions hearty!! They really pack in the noodles & extras making it very dense & a lot in what could seem like a small container otherwise. What is just as great as the food is the very kind souls that work here. They always impress me with their patience (with me trying to decide what to order : ), their help with any questions, customer service & overall positivity!! In a day and age where service & good food (at a reasonable cost) are harder to find, you’ll be sm:)in’! with Grandpa Mac’s!! Enjoy!
It’s hard to imagine that someone who tries to avoid carbs and gluten would love a mac and cheese spot… But here we are, it’s my go to lunch spot this summer, so i had to give them a few stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And let folks know that the gluten free pasta is bomb ? and the arugula salad is 10/10 my favorite. And super friendly folks.
Pretty good place overall! I LOVE all the Mac and cheese options and variations. I love the vegetarian and vegan options too. The fried Mac and cheese bites were good as well as the Mac grilled cheese. The vegan Mac and cheese was okay and rather weird. The spices in it were strong and I just wasn't really interested in it. Otherwise pretty good. Place was very clean and staff were friendly. Both bathrooms are also unisex, which I love!
While staying in the Lewes, Rehoboth Beach area for a quick weekend get away, a relative that lives in the area recommended Grandpa Mac for a place to eat. I'm glad they did! They have many variations of Mac and Cheese plus tasty sandwiches. Very laid back vibe with an attentive and welcoming staff. This was a definite treat for dinner. We were pleased with everything. We will definitely be back when in the area again.
Everything from the service to the food was amazing! They make their own pasta, including Gluten Free pasta on site. I wanted it all! We will certainly be going back!
Incredible experience at GPa Mac! The biggest surprise was that all pasta is made in house. Amazing flavors, attentive and super friendly staff, great music. We'll be back!!
I love this place! The people are great and so is the food! I love build your own places and this place gives a great helping of whatever you choose for your creation. Tomatoes and other veggies tasted fresh and yummy! And they have really good gluten and dairy free options.
AMAZING RESTAURANT FOR AMAZING PASTAS AND APPETIZERS!!! The staff were so friendly and tended to our every need!! On top of that they didn’t know it was my birthday but still threw in a cookie and a brownie to show their appreciation for the customers!!! 1000/10 would recommend to all those looking for just an overall great experience within a well run restaurant!!!
You should go here if you like mac and cheese. It's heavy and filling and good. Would not recommend if on diet. If your order a large mac you'll probably have leftover for the next day.
My family and I tried this place while we were on vacation, and it was a hit for all of us. I am allergic to dairy, which makes eating out challenging, sometimes especially on vacation. It is also especially hard to find mac n cheese without dairy. This place was welcoming from the minute we walked in. They took the time to walk us through the whole menu, gave us some suggestions, and then was patient while we decided what we wanted. Everything we ordered was AMAZING. We highly recommend this to anyone! We will definitely be going back!!!*Update: We went back the next day and tried even more yummy items! We met one of the owners, and he was super friendly and helpful and made sure I was able to enjoy the food with my allergy.
