Food and service were outstanding. Donât be fooled by the fact that itâs in a strip mall. It may not look like much and may not have the greatest ambiance, but the food and service were top notch.

I considered this restaurant consistently the best steak house in our area. Steak always best quality. Appetizer and salad prepared well. Food presentation pleasing to the eye. Wait staff always kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the choices for the evening. Never disappoints.

The food was excellent. Our waiter did error on one order but he was so apologetic and covered the cost of the dessert. Love this place. Best staff in the area and the most incredible food. Please make a reservation and ENJOY!!!
This has always been my go to place but, no so much anymore. Food good but I do better at home. Second time my Rack of Lamb was over cooked and 4 pieces is not a rack
If you're in Southern Delaware and you're craving a good steak dinner at a good price and with good service; this is the place to goð.
Iâm sure this is the best steakhouse in Sussex County, but there is absolutely no comparison to even a mediocre steakhouse in Philly. Service was fine. Decor is quirky with a made to look like simulated colonial vinyl sided house at one end. Curry spice on the escargot was different and good. Lobster a tad overdone and missing the crab imperial, which truthfully was fine. Steaks a tad unevenly cooked, but tasty. I spent a small fortune here and was really looking forward to the meal. It was good, but it didnât live up to their reputation.
1776 is a must for anybody who enjoys good food and great ambience. Make sure to stop in when you were in the Rehobeth area!
