I've eaten lunch here a few times, had food delivered to my office several times and have gone to events here multiple times and food and staff have always been excellent. They have an upstairs bar with pool tables and a great event space.
This place is ok, food is average bar food. I really only go for the wings honestly and to have a beer or two. The biggest problem I have is the people bringing their kids. Not their fault really but it's very obviously a bar and screaming kids is such a turn off I usually just get takeout. There are also a few kids as waiters here that have the nerve to ask you for your ID but then also bring you your drink.
Newarks hidden gem! Best wings in town and the coldest beer to sit and enjoy beautiful views of white clay creek !
This is average Pub grub. The food is good but like so many places in Newark nothing special to see here. Probably a good place tho have on your list for a night of bar hoping, The wait staff is very friendly and the bar is well stocked. Parking can be a bit of a problem on a busy night.
Had a great time and great service from Paige on a very busy Friday afternoon. The crab cake sandwiches were awesome and worth the reasonable price. Second time to the place and will keep coming back for more great service and wonderful food.
Haven’t been in Timothy‘s for about 20 years.we used to go there all the time for lunch from work.Back then Timothy‘s was the place to go great food great service.I went there this past weekend my godson had his wedding reception there.20 years later the staff is still exceptional the food was exceptional the atmosphere was great.Since this was a late morning reception what was unique about this was the had a breakfast buffet which was pretty cool.They had a fruit bowl chip beef gravy pancakes sausage links scrambled eggs fried potatoes.On the one side wall they had the buffet table was from kinda nice because when you look out the windows you saw the beautiful creek I’m streaming down on the side of the building.We were on the second floor for the reception and downstairs was the restaurant itself again I said it for 20 years later everything was really nice beautiful and I know my godson and his wife really enjoyed everything was going on that day.If I could Great more than five stars on this restaurant I would.definitely check the restaurant out.
Arrived at 245pm on sunday may 22, asked to sit outside. We were seated quickly. The venue seemed nice. The dining area inside was not busy, only couple of tables and they seemed to be close to finishing their meals. Majority of the people we seated at the bar. The outside speaker next to our table, sound level was tolerable but was turned up at 255p so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. At 310p we decided to leave since the wait staff had not approached us yet nor even offerred a glass of water.
Good food, great drinks, friendly service. LOVE their burgers!!!
We ordered fish and chips with a side of applesauce and never received the chips. We also ordered shrimp pasta and it didn’t have any flavor to it. We ordered a crab pretzel and they didn’t give that to us either. They sent the order back out (minus the pasta), and still did not give us the chips. The pretzel wasn’t hot and the taste was okay, nothing I would get again. They also tidbit give us any utensils at all. The 2 stars is for the fish, the fish is really good even though they didn’t give us any hot sauce or tarter sauce, and only gave us one slice of lemons for 6 pieces (2 orders) of fish. I wanted to like this place being as though we spent $70 on our food and they had good ratings.
My brother in-law had a party there, it was a retirement gathering! Very nice layout and the food was good! I would recommend that you all go there! It's also serve drinks! A place we're you can unwind! Try it!!
