I came here for a dozen bagel because they had the best reviews of any bagel shop in Newark. The ratings are deserved! They have a great selection of fresh bagels: a few of the options are on the sweet side like blueberry and cinnamon but most are the savory variety that I prefer. They offer at least nine different flavors of cream cheese, and their selection of sandwiches, salads, and omelets is mind-blowing! Their customer service is top-notch, too. I submitted a question and a comment to their website’s comments section and received a reply in a couple of hours. (I can’t even get contractors around here to do that on jobs that are going to make them thousands of dollars!)
Plan on waiting, waiting and waiting some more unless your order is through grub hub or another food ordering app. In person store orders get pushed to the back of line while they expedite the online order’s… Oh by the way, it’s a bit disgusting seeing staff eating and drinking behind the line while they prepare food, no gloves, no washing hands between eating and preparing food. A call to board of health is deemed here.
The bagels are average bagels but the service is terrible. From our order, 3 out of 4 items were wrong.

Great food. Layout was a little odd, the menu was tough to read with people waiting in line. I didn't know the bagel choices, that display was hard to see. Great portion and taste though, didn't have to wait long at all. Great coffee.
Not so good! Visiting and looking for a breakfast sandwich. Cashier order taker was more interested in her cell phone than customers. I ordered coffee with our order and never got it but didn’t know until down the road. Also the sausage egg and cheese was cheese wiz! Yuck!!!
Only complaint I have was the taylor ham was scliced like lunch meat. I was hoping it was gonna be a thick cut like the taylor ham (pork roll) at the store. The steak egg and cheese is ? though, way better than McDonald's steak egg and cheese!
This place has great bagels! People here actually care about what they are doing!
A staple on Main St. The best bagels in town, and awesome breakfast sandwiches.
It took a while to get our order ready, then all of the orders were wrong. At least the bagels tasted good.
