I just had an awful meal at the Red Robin in Newark. I ordered a pineapple upside down milkshake, And they were out of pineapple but didn't tell me and brought the Shake without it. They also ask me what temperature I'd like my $16 Burger, And instead of medium I got it well done. Why ask people what temperature they like their Burgers if you're just Going to sandbag the burgers, In an effort to make him faster. My Burger was ready in 5 minutes. And it was well done. How is that possible if you're not cooking them beforehand
The food wasn't bad. The bartender was good, especially considering they were short staffed. But as you can see by the picture, the plates were absolutely disgusting. Two out of the six were dirty on top, but all were dirty on the bottom...and they were stacked on top of each other as you can see. When cleaning dishware, I would assume you clean the entire dish, not just one side.
I like Red Robin a lot and have had many good meals there. But this was a first that my burger was over cooked and slightly charred for my taste. I'm hoping this will be an isolated incident and give it another chance.
The food was excellent! The service was very nice but my order was completely wrong. It was corrected promptly though.
Went here for lunch on a Sunday, we were seated right away in a both in the bar area. The bartender/ sever came to our table right away. The food came out in no time. The food was fare in flavor, good portionsize. The server was very attractive in checking in on our table. They do however need to update there silverware, dishwasher and glassware. Consistent quality, friendly and attentive service and delicious burgers and steak fries mark this chain restaurant as one of my top five go to fast casual picks! This location is par for the course. Add having reliable celiac (gluten free) options for a family member, and Red Robin is a winning pick anytime.
My dad and I love to stop in for a quite bite on the weekends. We’re always able to get a seat quickly! Love the variety of burger offerings, and the onion rings are great!
I tried to place a phone order and it didn’t go through so I decided to come up to red Robin thinking it might be busy. When I came in the hostess was on a personal phone call on the restaurants phone. I had to wait a few seconds for her to finish her conversation so I could place my order. As I placed my order I saw she was also looking at tic tok. The bar tender was nice and even checked on my order for me. He was the only reason 2 stars was given.
Normally I love the turkey burger any way it comes. Tonight, the meal tasted like grease & old onions?. My vanilla milkshake was amazing, as always.
What happened to the burgers? Used to love them and now the meat is tough and chewy! Eww! The fries also had no seasoning. Threw away 2 burgers! What a waste of money.
