Great pizza! New management has expanded their hours and added great new items to the menu. Best place to eat in Newark!
I saw the article in the paper about the new ownership so we thought we would give it a try. We are always looking for great pizza. We heard great things about the old place, but we never made it down. We finally did. We ordered carryout for 3 pizzas. We ordered a pepperoni, a spicy Italian, and a shrimp scampi. All three pizzas were outstanding! High quality ingredients cooked perfectly. We have been in the area for over 20 years and have yet to find really good pizza. At least for our taste. We have now. We will be back, and I urge you to give them a try you will not be disappointed.
Ordered delivery, and the wait was worth it! Caesar dressing was thick and flavorful, the bolognese sauce had a perfect tomato flavor in spite of being chock-full of meat, and the Spicy Italian pizza was an expert balance of heat and flavor. Can’t wait to order again!
New owners add some inventive touches to the old Wood Fired Pizza menu, keeping the brick oven goodness and supplementing the menu with solid pasta creations from Stone Balloon Ale House. Easily the best pizza within 20 miles. Loved the Margherita and pepperoni, but the more adventuresome combos were also solid, and not overwhelmed by multiple ingredients, a mistake too many make.
Ordered pickup. Phenomenal food and service. Packaged well. Started with an extremely friendly person on the phone, check out was easy when I got there. And the chef brought the food out to my car when it was ready. Homemade Fries barely made it home! Gluten free options were a happy addition too!
Excelent place! Great food, very tasty, and prices are fantastic. They serve the food very quickly, our waiting time was less than 8 minutes. Loved it!

This place rocks! We love wood fire pizza. If you love a good pepperoni pizza this is it. They do not skimp. Yummy!!! Great customer service & they follow Covid precautions & wear mask when they deliver .
