Got door dash from here and the fries tasted like straight up cooking oil and were soggy as hell. Also the pickles they use aren’t the same as other McDonald’s. Something about this place doesn’t taste like McDonalds..
I order a family size meal through doordash once and all the fries was hard and old, the sandwiches for my family was not tasteful at all and most of them was super cold. Im not saying it all had to be super fresh. Nor do i live far from this place to be that cold. But the food tasted like its been sitting in the back For hours and just came out in the microwave.
I wish I would've read these reviews first. I was staying across the street @ Springhill suites (which I absolutely love-BTW) and I was excited to see a McDonalds nearby so that I could grab breakfast. I went thru the drive thru yesterday AM and received an Egg Mcmuffin and a hot caramel latte, and an OJ. The bottom muffin in my sandwich was hard as a brick. I tried to work around it by just taking off the bottom muffin. I ate the sandwich and drank less than half of the OJ and latte, until I started feeling sick to my stomach, so I ditched the rest of my drinks (should've done the same with the sandwich in hindsight)! I battled an upset stomach, gas, and diarrhea all morning-Ugh!I called and spoke to a female manager later on to tell her about my experience. At that point I had decided that I was boycotting this location INDEFINITELY but I just wanted her to know what happened. I asked her to check the milk that they were using for the latte, thinking it may have been spoiled like my muffin, and she said it was fresh. Anyway, she offered to compensate me for my inconvenience, and I declined as I NEVER want to eat there again!I explained to her that I eat McDs breakfast regularly and I've never gotten sick, SO THANKS BUT NO THANKS, SMH! After reviewing the rest of their reviews this doesn't seem like an isolated incidence, and this location NEEDS TO DO BETTER!
I couldn't believe it. For days I PAY FOR EXTRA BREAKFAST SAUCE ONLY TO RECEIVE y order dry and with literally a touch of sauce.. I pay 50 cents for extra... yet yesterday I got handed the wrong sandwich. I was in the drive thru for 25 minutes at 6:05 am today. There were only three cars when I pulled up TODAY. I was on the right side of the drive thru waiting to order for a good 15 minutes because the employees couldn't communicate that I was NEXT TO ORDER. They kept taking the left side orders until I guess they realized I was still sitting there. I was very upset and I doubt I'll return. I been coming frequently for breakfast, but Ill go elsewhere, where they actually care and pay attention. So many people need jobs, yet these people couldn't be bothered. I was very offended when they kept taking people order that came after me. They could have communicated that I was next.
I’m really getting sick and tired of writing these reviews. Why can’t I ever write a good one. Not only did the coffee come half filled…again. They forgot my girls hash brown and instead of giving me a cinnamon bun they gave me a sandwich. How does this happen?!
The lead supervisor for many of the Dukart McDonald's Stores (Newark Delaware Main St, Harmony Rd Newark Delaware) just to name two, is named Rueben. His association with fellow employees is questionable to say the least. Unethical and unprofessional would be be a more accurate description. I suggest the Dukart Family at cooperate headquarters investigate his behavior and seriously consider keeping his tender as an employee of the Dukart Cooperation and family legacy. I happen to be aware of his actions and would be more than willing to describe in full detail at Dukart cooperate headquarters the moral fiber this man lacks and the violations of company policy he has breached. Concerned long time customer, directly affected father, family man, and disappointed patron!
Drive thru at night...just say sometimes it's a little slow.Sitting at the drive thru waiting for someone to take my order and four other cars behind me came up on the other side and went before me...not too happy. But I always love the food.
One Employees, who was possibly a manager, so super friendly and kind. Actually I only ever saw 2 employees and the other one walked right passed me while I was waiting to pay for my order (which I placed on the kiosk) and didn't even tell anyone that I was standing up front. So that was weird. Overall it didn't take that long....but I did order an ice cream mind you my order was to go and they handed me my hot fudge sundae and asked if I would mind waiting a bit for the fries...lololol. so I'm taking a star away. The one lady was super nice tho! kudos to her:)

This is absolutely sickening. I waited for 35-45 minutes in the drive-thru and was then told that this McDonald’s branch REFUSED TO SERVE ME because I wasn’t door dash or Uber eats. I can understand being short staffed, I can understand a long wait, but to refuse to serve people who have waited that long because they’re not door dash or Uber eats is outside the realm of acceptable policy. Absolutely sickening.
