Was seated by the host at this Friendly's for 25 minutes without having a single server check in on my table to get a single order. Many servers were walking around and checking in on various tables RIGHT next to mine, but deliberately ignoring mine. I even received a few dirty looks from some customers which led me to feel as if there was a racist atmosphere as I was the only colored person in the building at the time. Many customers seated around us finished their meals, paid, and left all in the time we were seated without a waiter. We ended up leaving without ever being seen by a server because waiting half an hour to be seen after being seated is utterly ridiculous. Will most definitely never be returning.
I came into this friendlys with my daughter a couple days ago. I got my order taken by the manager Robyn. I bought just ice-cream and left a tip on card. There was only one ice-cream scooper and she seemed to be very busy but Robyn was standing in a corner on her phone or just talking to people not doing her job or helping the ice-cream scooper. Once the ice-cream for my daughter and I was ready, I asked the girl “who receives the tips when I tip on card” because I did not want Robyn to get it since she has done nothing to contribute to making the ice-cream. The young lady said “Whoever takes the order is who gets the tip.” It is disappointing to see that Robyn would not help the girl who looked to be struggling and instead was on her phone or having a fun time talking to people.
We tried the new Chicken Pesto Mozz melt & Brisket American cheese melt. Both were very good. Our waitress was great also. The hunka chunka pb fudge ice cream was fantastic as always
My husband and I dropped by Friendly's on Labor day for takeout. To our surprise we were greeted by a nice hostess named Yuli who truly exemplified the true meaning of great customer service! She was very pleasant and courteous while tending to our order. Yuli certainly is a great asset to this Friendly's restaurant! Once back at home we enjoyed our mouth watering Friendly's meal and dessert!Update* First time back dining inside Friendly's since ease of Covid restrictions in February 2022. The restaurant is clean, wait staff is friendly and always accommodating. We felt at ease especially not being grouped up among other tables. Smooth service. We were glad that we decided to visit this location again!
A small specialized breakfast menu. Not many items but what they do, they do well. Pick some items and concentrate on making them the best they can be. I have not had a bad breakfast experience and would rate them good for breakfast. I like them for lunch and dinner as well but this is a niche that many people don't think of them filling.
Didn’t see myself reviewing friendly’s but this specific restaurant has amazing customer service. Workers are kind, attentive and you can’t ever go wrong with their ice creams.
Was at the restaurant tonight with my grand daughter. The whole place was hopping! Very busy. I was seated in Sarah’s section. She gave us and every single person in her section stellar service. She hustled and yet was attentive and professional. Thank you for hiring her and I hope we all have her an awesome tip. The troubling part of my visit was having to tell Sarah there was no hand soap in the bathroom. She said she would tell her manager. 30 min later we went to wash our hands again and no soap still. I watched several people in and out of the bathroom kids and adults as well as staff. This was so disheartening. I pulled the manager aside and explained how thankful I was for Sarah but no soap in the bathroom was unacceptable. A health department visit would cause a shut down. You can not operate without hand soap in the bathroom. I had antibacterial with me but shudder to think of all those who didn’t. Please do something different to attend these bathrooms. I know things run out but a one time visit can be excused not a two time visit. I am considering this restaurant a dirty one and will not visit for quite a long time. That makes me sad as Sarah was the bright spot in a line of other restaurants where the servers are exhausted and not able to serve with their whole self. Your manager tonight came out and listened to me, respectfully, thank you. However it leaves me with a very bad taste in my mouth.
The waitress (Mariah) was very attentive to me and I was able to watch my waitress give The same level of care to everyone she waited on with a sweet disposition and smile on her face. The food was fresh, hot and tasty. I ordered the classics Fishamajig which was toasty, tasty and took me back to my childhood. Nothing has changed yet many things added which I appreciate ay Friendly's. I can't say enough how I appreciate clean establishments who continue to uphold their name "Friendly".
I went here to get some ice cream for my family, the woman working behind the counter seemed to have trouble with the touchscreenwhich I didn't mind, I thought she might have been new. She made a minor mistake with one of the orders which I didn't mind, another one she gave me was a different ice cream than I had ordered, I politely told her that it wasn't the flavor I ordered and she gave an attitude saying that it was, I told her I was fairly certain I ordered a different flavor and again in a polite voice asked her if she could make the one I ordered, she grumbled and went back to remake it and when she came back she angrily slammed the container on the counter, as if she was trying to break it. When I opened it and looked, the order was still wrong. I left because I had a feeling if I told her she made the order wrong again, she would spit in the new one or something considering how angry she got the first time she made it wrong. This happened today on the 11th between 8:45 and 8:55pm.Edit: after I told my sister about the workers tantrum, she is worried that the worker actually did spit in it and won't eat the ice cream.
I order Friendly’s often but all it takes is one bad experience to not return. Shift Manager Robin should not be in charge for any shift if she can not appropriately handle situations. I also blame her management for not properly training her or just allowing her customer service to be so careless and ignorant.
