Great service! Nice place to eat in a rainy day.
Oatmeal breakfast bake is delicious, despite the non-traditional aesthetic. Dark roast coffee is a nice compliment to it. The interior atmosphere of the cafe is country style and quite calming.
Food is always consistently good, I went at least monthly pre-Covid but since they moved to self service I go much less frequently. I do not like trying to manage my own service on my cell phone while trying to talk to who I’m eating with. It used to feel really friendly here with great service but I’d rather go somewhere else where o don’t have to interrupt my conversation to use my phone every time I want something. I don’t even think anyone talked to us besides when they dropped off our food. Menu also seems smaller and much less exciting than it used to be.
I really am not one to complain. However, I ordered two breakfast sandwiches to go and waited over 40 minutes for two sandwiches! The staff seems very overwhelmed and are not very helpful. I will stick to brew haha
next level gastro café featuring unusually rustic plates. who puts sausage hash over kale? these guys do and now it's all I want. way to go, DC.
First timers, but we will be back. Ordered online with a few requests, and all were taken care of. Nothing crazy, but refreshing when an establishment doesn't mess an order up. P.S. My kids loved the mixed potatoes! I did as well. Thanks!
Food is ok. They want you to download and pay through an app. Read the terms and agreement before you download! Says the won’t sell your data, but the company who created the app does for Advertisement purposes. Felt like they want nothing to do with the customer. Sitting at a table, my coffee came in a to go cup. Never going there again.
I attempted to purchase a cup of hot coffee from a specialty coffee shop. It was barely tepid. I asked my alleged server Jenna to heat it in the microwave. She brought it back to me and said it had been in the microwave for a minute. As it was still barely warm, apparently she has trouble using a microwave. I asked for a refund but she still got the 75 cent tip. After that debacle, I went to Wawa where the coffee was steaming as I put it in my cup.
Excellent coffee and food with excellent customer service, they went out of their way to accommodate allergy issues.
Walked in to grab to an online take out order and damn it was busy. Order was about 20mins past time of pick up but it was evident they were short staffed. although short staffed the team they had was hustling. On that alone I have to give five stars. You all should be proud of yourselves for your unity. When I got home my son noticed he was missing his bacon but the food we did get was fantastic as always so the missing bacon did not matter to him. Seeing a restaurant thriving and moving like a well oiled machine even when it’s missing some key parts is what we as customers should be focusing on. Thank you for being awesome and we will always be supporters!
