It's a historical place so the fact you can sit in there and eat in a sanitary state is award winning it's self. Food was great the only place you can get outside of a Chinese fast food restaurant to get cheese steak egg roll. To describe them I would say OMG then my mouth would water ?,...... Last thing because I'm not going to detail everything, I'm a firm believer lettuce and tomato should come on every burger though no charge!!!!
Busy, the server was nice at first and then she must have got busy or somebody was mean to her, she was different later on.I will go back.Don't get the stew.I liked the history of the place. But it's too bad they built that parking garage across the street, from it. I don't know what was there before. It should have just been a park. You know LANG.
Amazing place especially the weekends
Beer came quick was the good part. This is a typical college town tavern with the only plus point being free parking. Main Street is busy and has paid parking. The pizza was okay, tables were unclean and I was seated in a suboptimal area where I would get whiffs of the restroom. I did not dare go in the restroom
The Deer Park is always a great place to to meet friends and family for good times! Food is excellent and the drinks even better! Always a go to, happening place in Newark! Bring your mug and stop by for the weekend brunch and Bloody Mary bar!
My favorite bar since the 1970s. The crab bomb Benedict & chicken cheese steak are my favorites.
Mmm the burgers and sweet potato fries are awesome. Deer Park Tavern has many menu selections for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. The service was fast, friendly and professional. They have free parking. The restaurant.is clean and has nice decor. Will definitely return.

The BBQ pork Mac and cheese was phenomenal! I was blown away at how tasty it was. The service was perfect! I can't wait to eat here again!
Excellent place to hang out for the younger crowd. Food and atmosphere is upbeat. All though this is weird but .. Loved the urinals. Very creative.
