Chiwa Bistro, located in Christiana Mall Newark Delaware. Walking into the restaurant, the Japanese-style large lanterns are imprinted in the eyes. The decoration of the whole store is full of Japanese atmosphere, and the dining environment makes people feel very comfortable. It mainly sells Japanese noodle, sushi and snacks. The Japanese noodles are well done, the soup base is delicious, the noodles are springy and the side dishes are fresh. A very nice shop, worth trying.
After an exhausting experience with Apple tech here at the Christiana Mall, we were really hungry and wanted to simply go to the food court. By some miracle, we spotted this hidden gem! They seated us right away and we were left with an intriguing menu.We ordered soup, fried rice, and oyakodon which came with the miso soup. We also ordered intriguing mango mojitos. We got 10% off just for trying it. The meals were sumptuous and we had a wonderful lunch brought to us by Diew! I highly recommend you give this place a try when you go to the mall.
Excellent and an amazing place! This was our first visit and it was such a lovely and serene experience. The music was so calming and the ambiance was very relaxing. Stanley, our server, was patient as we chose our selections and his personality was so cool! We ordered a variety of delicious foods and were pleased with each one. ? We will return again to try more tasty foods! Thank you so much!
Omg, we just stopped in since the mall food court had closed. We enjoyed everything so much, from the food to the decor. I loved how it reminded me of my time in Japan. Service was top notch. Can't wait to go back.
Was trying to grab a quick lunch with hubby. Came upon this place and decided to give it a try. We ordered the siu mai and scallion pancakes for appetizers and also each got a ramen. The portion for the scallion pancakes and the ramen were definitely decent size. The siu mai comes in 4 pieces which was expected but definitely on the pricier side. I usually pay about $4 range when I get them at a dim sum restaurant. I did like that they have a variety of dim sum options to choose from. All the food was flavorful but I think the roast pork in the ramen which is also known as char siu could be braised a little longer than it was be more tender and more flavorful. The servers did come to check on us a few times which I appreciate. The meal overall was reasonable priced. I would definitely return when I’m in the area.
OH MY GOSH i can’t explain how good the food & service was!! Every time i come here rather it’s dine in or takeout everyone is so kind, the energy is great, and the food is. AMAZING. Avery authentic and great flavor. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and they never disappoint! 100/10 definitely great restaurant
Super delicious food! Everything was made fresh and the flavors were out of this world. Will definitely make this a regular place to eat. Great prices and super fast and polite service. The atmosphere was fun too!
The most authentic Japanese food you can find in Newark, Delaware!The spicy tuna onigiri, black sesame bubble tea, shrimp tempura, miso soup - all were really delicious in extremely reasonable price!The store is beautifully decorated, good music, friendly stuffs. Had a lovely time there!

This was our first time here. The service and food was very good. We ordered our appetizers and main course at the same time. All the food came out almost on top of each other. We didn't have a chance to really enjoy our appetizers before our main course came.. Overall the food and service was great I definitely will be back. Highly recommended.
