Not sure about the quality of the food, they had a sign on the door saying "to go orders only" and when we walked in to ask we were yelled at by staff "we're closed".If you're closed, put a sign on the door and change your hours.
The worse experience at a Chipotle. Ordered online for pick up... they forgot to hand us our cups for my daughter's drink, they only gave me 3 of the toppings for my burrito bowl (small scoop of beans, sofritas, and small scoop of veggies). The rest of my toppings were given to my husband who could not eat them. Dinner was ruined and most uneaten. Reached out via app for a refund and denied a refund, only a coupon for BOGO. Because Chipotle can't make it right, we prob wont go back.
The food was good, but this store is filthy! Guess that's what you get in a college town.
I don't particularly like chipotle, but my wife LOVES Chipotle. With that being said, when I order food THIS Chipotle is stingy about cheese. If you enjoy a lot of cheese you may have to ask multiple times for more cheese. That is why I didn't go 5 stars.But there are many positives with this location. If the customer orders quickly the line will move fast, I don't worry too much about the line being half way to the back of the store. It's well run even when things get busy the small stuff is taken care of soda doesn't run out of syrup, napkins, plasticware, and sauces are filled. Its very rare if this location makes a mistake for online orders.
Some of the The chips were oily and too hard to eat. The guacamole had large pieces in it and one was pulp amd not edible.
I ordered a Steak Burrito on the app, picked up my order, saw that the stickers and name on the order were correct, and they were. Got home, went to grab my burrito, and it's a chicken bowl. Thanks :|
Chipotle never disappoints, they've got a variety of big filling burritos! Also if you order a bowl & ask for the tortillas on side you tend to get a bit more yumm, for your hard-earned money. This Newark location, is one of my favorites ?
I usually never post reviews, I can give grace for mix ups, but I ordered several bowls for staff and ever order was a mess. Chips were stale, bowls swimming in sour cream, no extras were on the bowls, queso was missing even though I ordered chips and queso; no cheese on bowl, no lettuce, they couldn't find my order and it was not on the shelf, by the time they found it and we got back to the office to discover all the issues, the food was really cold. Used to love Chipotle but the last 3 orders have been nothing but issues. First was two burritos with the new brisket - they were the smallest yet most expensive burritos I've ever received from Chipotle! Like fit in the palm of your hand small.
