Probably the worse cheesesteak I've had in a long time. I've lived in Newark all my life and this capriottis was excellent up until 4 or 5 years ago. I've had several sandwiches in the 4 years and 1 or 2 have been good. The most recent was so bad all I could do was laugh about it. A large cheese steak is a little under 20$ on a 20 inch roll. No fried onion, no extra cheese and the last 3 inches of bread on each end had only ketchup, no meat and what meat was actually in the rest of the sandwich was very minimal. That was the last straw for me at this capriottis. I threw out 3/4s of the sandwich. Save your money

The movie Zoolander mentions a school for kids that can’t read well. Maybe Capriotti’s should invest in a training course for their staff who can’t read an order at all. Or add audio to there online ordering so the staff doesn’t have to read. With better AI there won’t be a need for illiterate high school or college dropouts that can’t read well.

Very friendly staff and awesome sandwiches and salads we had! Definitely worth going to if you have a taste for the meat!

Pleasant experience. I was acknowledged by an employee as l entered and approached the counter and was advised that someone would be with me shortly. There was a bit of a wait after placing the order, but it was the lunch rush and the order was for hot subs so that was to be expected. The food was hot and fresh and delicious. Portion size was acceptable for the price paid. My in-store experience was better than my on-line order where a sandwich and chips weren't included in the delivery and the promised refund was never issued.

I got 4 wagyu cheesesteaks to take down to my son in laws for dinner. They were excellent, and Capriotti's was very nice, getting all condiments on the side, for an 1 1/4 ride to Bel Air. The steaks were great, and with everything on the side, they tasted fresh.

Ordered pick up a small Italian a large Bobby and a small cheesesteak. When I got home I had two small Bobby’s small cheesesteak and no Italian hoagie. I guess I’m gonna have to start opening up my sandwiches before I leave.I’m waiting for a response to get a full refund of this OK I am missing.

Turkey was dry and bland. Sub was supposed to be no onions or tomatoes, yes to sweet peppers and pickles. They got it backwards. Buns are different and don’t taste the same.

Worst turkey subs I ever got from Newark!!

Fantastic food. Low # of staff but they worked their tails off. From a scale of 1 to 10 the staff get a 12. All of them greeted customers and kept the process going to get folks their food as fast as possible.

The wrong sandwich was delivered (meat instead of vegetarian). They offered to make a new sandwich but couldn't deliver it so I chose the refund. I also didn't receive part of the order so that was promised to be refunded as well. 9 days later, still no refund, even after phone calls and contacting customer support. I'm starting to wonder if they even processed the refund. I will continue to call and email them, but I should get a full refund at this point. Why should I have to spend all this time begging them to make things right?
