I had been there when they first had their grand opening. The food was amazing. After reading the reviews today I wasn't sure about returning but I was craving mac and cheese. I went and ordered extra crispy fried chicken. Well it definitely wasn't crispy not only that but it was soaked. Not sure if it was grease or if it came from the sweet potatoes. Regardless it wasn't crispy. Not only was my chicken not crispy but my mac and cheese wasn't hot at all. More like room temperature. The cheese was thick and not at all like I remembered it. Needless to say I won't be returning. The prices are a little high but I don't mind paying for good food. This wasn't it. So the reviews are on point. The chicken isn't crispy even after I requested extra crispy and the Mac and cheese definitely isn't worth it at all. So disappointing that the quality of the food has not been the same since they first opened.

I decided to try Aunt Vonda’s today after following them on social media. The restaurant is super cute and clean. The young lady at the counter was very friendly. We ordered a fried chicken platter, the lamb cheesesteak and shrimp and grits. Everything was really good! I will definitely be back!

Aunt Vonda's food is great, I have ordered several times. I have only ordered it to work through Door Dash, and it is perfectly sealed to confirm no tampering, it's hot, and packaged perfectly. The grits are amazing as well as the cornbread, I eat them together for the perfect taste (might be weird). Fried chicken, sweet potatoes, fried fish, greens, all of it is good.

Today was my first day trying y'all out and the food was delicious customer service was great and it was very clean inside definitely will be returning ?

I was recommended by a friend so I decided to try them for lunch. I ordered online which was an easy process & it was ready on time (approx. 45 minute wait time). The place itself is real cute (pictures below), it was clean & quiet. The young lady at the counter was very engaging & friendly. Now the food itself… I ordered the 4 fried chicken wings, mac n cheese, greens, potato salad & sweet potatoes (all soul food staples). The pros: Portions are large. Fried chicken was crispy. Presentation was good. Cornbread was adequate. Greens were good. The cons: The potato salad tasted store bought. The mac n cheese looked & tasted like it had never even touched an oven. The sweet potatoes were tasteless. Overall meh. Yes, I would give them another chance.

Go. Just go to this restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is so clean and well kept. The staff was amazing, super polite and ready to give a great recommendation for ordering. Aunt Vonda was enjoying a small meal before the dinner rush, and while I did not want to interrupt her meal, she was more than welcoming of light conversation and you could tell she appreciates her customers. And to top it off someone even got up and opened a door for me as I was leaving. Talk about southern hospitality vibes. Top tier customer service.Fried cabbage and the 5 cheese Mac were slammin.I had the whiting, cooked to perfection. And the cornbread was the perfect level of sweet.I’ll probably be there tonight to try the turkey wings as that’s a Friday/Saturday/Sunday special for the restaurant.

I tried 3 orders 3 different times I'm just not a fan and can't bear to spend my money again just see if maybe I was wrong. I won't be rude and discuss the first two orders but my last one fried fish friend chicken no flavor or even a piece of a crunch since it was fried, Greens were tough and salty , the Mac had a sharp cheese I never tried in baked Mac, the sweet potatoes had a orange flavoring or vanilla not a fan and I wish I could have ate when the other reviewers were there because I can't relate at all

All I can say is FRIED CHICKEN!!! My goodness! I'll definitely be back! Sidenote: appreciated how clean the restaurant was during my visit. Customer service was exceptional. My friend and I dined in & it was a nice, relaxing atmosphere!

The type of small business I love to support. First thing I notice is the place is clean (front and back). 2nd, I was greeted while in line while waiting...Sir, I'll be with you in a moment. Everyone we spoke to was professional and patient (Aunt Vonda included). Food came out fresh, and hot. Definitely has large portion sizes to satisfy big appetites, and the food is good. I'll surely be back.

their food is amazing! highly recommend trying the food. *****
