Not impressed. We went for lunch and it was pretty pricey for the smallish lunch portions. We were the only people there and it took a good amount of time to get our food and everyone's food was just lukewarm. Also, the stupid gaming system on the table does not warn you that it costs money! My daughter scrolled through it and somehow ended up charging us $2! I know it's a small cost but it was for literally NOTHING. A plus was that the server was very nice.
This is usually a pretty nice place to eat, especially if it's a little later than usual for dinner. Love the atmosphere and the servers are typically pretty good. I walked in just to be looked up and down with a disgusted face. Not greeted by the host, just stared at before I said hello. I was asked if I was doing take out, said no I'm not I am dining in. Continued to be asked if I wanted take out and looked at with a now offended and disgusted look. The host finally said fine I'll seat you and then proceded to talk to the other host and now a guest. Waited a good 5 minutes after the other guest left before leaving the building. Extremely disappointed and upseted by this interaction and will not be coming back anytime soon.
Went to my local Applebee's to celebrate my nephews birthday (even though I didn't want to dine there). The food and drinks are always mediocre! My salmon was super dry! The manager did remove it from my bill, but once we received our check, the waiter charged my sister's bill to my card and vice versa(we gave her the bills with our card separately). We had to wait for 20 minutes for them to screw the bill up 2 more times. I'm definitely not a fan of ANY Applebee's locations...I always receive bad service or terrible food.
We came in with an 8 top (party of 8) and were told that the only seats that would fit us all were the big round table and the hostess (who had an extremely rude attitude) pointed to the table. She said it would be a 30 minute wait. When it hit the 30 minute mark, we were patient because it’s a Friday and more than half of us work in restaurants (3 of us are line cooks and 2 of us are servers). The hostess comes to us and says the table (whom we just witnessed reviewing to go boxes), just for their appetizers (which was a lie). Then a rude manager came up when we were asking if the 2 empty booths that were back to back could be used (as they were previously occupied but then the patrons left) and they refused to allow us to have the booths. We asked then if we can keep waiting and he kept trying to get us to leave by saying he doesn’t want to seat us because he stated we need to “think of the kitchen staff” but if 2 separate parties arrived they would have easily been sat there. It made zero sense. It would be the same thing if it were 2 separate parties because like I stated, some of us in the party are line cooks. If line cooks can’t handle an 8 top, they need new line cooks.. Both booths of us would have paid separately. It felt like they didn’t want to serve us because we are Hispanic. They let larger parties with all white people be seated together. Luckily, we knew the GM of one of the other Applebees who’s guiding us on where to go from here. I can’t express in writing how badly we were treated and as a server and former hostess, I’d never no matter what treat people with such disgusting behavior as if we were second class citizens. It was a birthday dinner too, which makes it even worse. Luckily TGI Fridays near the U of D were able to seat us within 2 minutes, treated us like humans and helped the night turn out better.
I Placed an order online it definitely tells you a specific time for pick up got there on time and I’m waiting patiently and I understand sometimes it will take a couple minutes more. But then I’m waiting and waiting its been 24 minutes past pick up time.. No one comes outside side anymore I had to call the restaurant to get my food that’s been sitting for all that time.. And of course the food was cold.. The Service is definitely not the same it’s been happening for a while.. Sorry but you lost a client…
We chose a quick lunch today at Applebee's and the food was ok but they really need to work on presentation my platter was a mess it was split and wood peeling off I was a taken back by that.Step it up on what you are serving food on!
Our waiter was great his name was Christopher it was Sunday night dinner with my family as Soon as we walked in the door he accommodated us to a table waters were filled and food was fast in on time great service He as on it keep up the good job
Very disappointed in the food. Ordered soup and bowl came out half full. Ordered the fried shrimp and the coating was horrible and not staying on the shrimp. The iced tea was weak and flavorless. The service was very good
For a late night meal (9 p.m.), while on the road traveling, this place was very nice to dine in. The food was very good, as it was all piping hot and delicious. Mozzarella sticks here are just about my favorite. Our server was attentive, even though it seemed like he was the only fella working after that time. It was a Saturday night so I guess there wasn't much else around the area that was open late. Great place to grab a meal.
Applebee's has always been hit and miss for me not really a huge fan. But we went there and it was the same not great I got the macaroni and cheese chicken tender bowl and it wasn't cheesy abs there was some strange syrup on the bottom of the bowl. Our server Nate was awsome though
