The restaurant is beautifully decorated with the gorgeous historical feel very well preserved. However, the staff is rude and incompetent. The waitress's failure in describing the specials, resulted in me receiving a entire fish: head, tail, skins and all. I could not eat it. They are very pricey. The cocktails are $10.00 on avg. The drinks took 35 to 40 minutes. The dinner, an hour. I know everyone is short staffed but there is no excuse for the rudeness and incompetence from the waitress. The bar tender was especially rude.
Great drinks food and music
Zollie’s is a sparkling little diamond in the old New Castle historic district. Fresh, tasty and creative cuisine, good drinks - and a hip, friendly vibe. Tony is a fabulous chef who really shines on soups, sauces, fish and other meats (try the pepper pot!). Like the interior itself, everything is artfully presented. What’s not to like? It’s unique. A destination.

Jazz is back for us, we’re being longing for a Jazz club that’s not in Philly! First off the VIBE IN THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUS GOOD, every Wednesday there’s a difference Jazz Artist! Let’s get to business:The Host Q she is amazing she recommended a bar seats for us to enjoy the music, next up is Sam she is the bartender and we love her Vibe the drinks we were looking at she knew right off the back AMAZING!The appetizers: we only had the cornbread with honey Ridiculous GoodLet me say I have eaten lots of Caesar salad but nothing like the here! OMG you gotta check it out!The Art work in this place is phenomenal again you gotta stop by here!My wife had the Geeche Paella without Shrimps! My wife is in heaven!I had their sweet and hot wings(it has a nice kick to them) and their truffle fries parmesan!We found our Wednesday Spot!
This restaurant is INCREDIBLE! You will not find anywhere like it in Delaware. The menu diverse menu that rotates new thing creations never disappoints. I've been here 4 times now and the chef is never less than perfect! The service is nice and the manager 'Q' is delightful. Even down to the atmosphere. The decor is jaw dropping and perfectly set up for either dates or drinks with friends. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Customer service a 10, ambience a 10, location a 10, the food a 10 (I got fish and chips), the drinks a 10!! I literally have no complaints. I loved every bit of it. I went by myself and even chatted with one of the owners and a sweet couple that came in.
Tried Zollies for the first time last night. The food was wonderful. Everything we ordered was cooked and displayed to perfection. Our drinks were very good. The staff were top notch. Will definitely be back many times in the future!
This is a hidden gem! The staff and chef are very courteous, friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent (couldn't resist taking a bite of the chocolate mousse before the photo)! The local art on the walls makes this restaurant even more appealing. We can't wait to return during a jazz set.
My experience at Zollies was incredible! The food AMAZING! The staff AMAZING! The atmosphere AMAZING! Zollies is one of the best restaurants around when it comes to fine dining with incredible food that will just take your breath away and just say wow that’s tasty! It was so delicious… I got the lamb my wife got Jamaican jerked salmon. We both loved our meals! I can’t wait to come back over and over until we try everything on the menu! The dessert is very delicious too. You do not want to miss out on this place!!!Andrew
