***how does the owner of this restaurant with truly great food not recognize that his staff member is driving away not only myself/my family but the other 10+ patrons who left negative service related reviews prior to mine? It’s very clear when this employee started working for this establishment as you can see exactly when the negative reviews began! Such a shame but you will continue to lose customers!We have been loyal and returning customers to Taqueria Atexquita for well over a year now. Food is great. Service leaves a lot to be desired. The shorter gentlemen behind the counter is not friendly when calling to place your order. Our order has been not correct several times when the order is placed through him. Tonight our order was incorrect yet again and he proceeded to argue with me on the phone when in reality he couldn’t pull his attention away from the gentlemen/friends of his at the restaurant/bar long enough to take our order correctly. I will say, the woman who is there is always very friendly and nice to deal with and our order seems to be correct when placed through her! Beware!
The front counter guy is unprofessional. I ordered over the phone, went to pick up my food and was told he forgot to put it in. Ok, I reorder and waited paid for my food. He comes back up and says he found my previous order and that I ordered 5 quesadillas. I said no I ordered 1 and he insisted I pay 75.00 for his mistake. I told him no. I finally get my order and check to make sure nothing is missing and I'm missing 3 tacos. I tell him this and he tries to charge me again for the tacos, so again I said no. I pull out the menu and to make sure I paid correctly and my order and I was over charged 7.50 for the missing tacos. By the time he was done going back and forth my food was cold. I've had bad experiences with this guy in the past but always thought maybe it was a bad day. After today we will never return.

The guy who’s doing. The service is very rude And have. Actitud if you ask. For what is the best sale. You don’t say check the manu. To the person who say can see clear cause have operation. I’m try to be calm cause. This the first and last time I’m caming so disappointed. Well details food burn
Worst food ever. Worst service ever. And over charged. Didn't get silverware, chips where hard and burnt. Very disappointed. Don't go here
Cemitas. That's it, try the cemitas. They sell Bev's so, just be aware. The food is great.
This place is so good. The meals were huge and the price was perfect. Authentic food and the taste and flavor was on par. They do both done in and take out. I got the nachos Texanos with steak and it was Soo good. Loaded with guac, steak, and just the perfect amount of spice. Definitely check this place out
I had the enchiladas and some tacos. They were really delicious but be careful with the red sauce it was so spicy. The portions were really good and it was very affordable!
Food was excellent, muy auténtico! It is a taqueria, so expect taqueria ambiance - loud, small space, fun!
small but very good taqueria. they can get busy so order ahead and be patient. i go after the lunch rush and settle into their delicious mole sauce. add a shot of Herradura blanco and a cold Jarritos for the win.
