At this moment, the best cheesesteak in new castle county. Fresh roll, quality beef and ample cheese. Toppings are free on sandwiches. the way steak sandwich it’s crafted, its earnest and delicate. This authentic Italian family pizzeria is by far superior compared to other “anybody” running the shop business. (Pats, seasons, dominos, claymont, etc)These 3 guys are always there. Perfecto.. All the food is good, salads, pizza and even the Italian dishes are genuine. Real family, real good food. AND when a place is always busy you know it’s good. Give them a try you will be happy. Large portions, best value. The French fries are 3/4 lb bag kept separate in old school brown bag. You see the goodness on the outside of the bag. Hot Crinkle cuts . Legendary, eye popping out your head, biting your tongue, cause you can’t get enough. Great quality you will remember.
This business is not organized what so ever. The older man took my order and I was told that the food will be ready in 20 minutes. During our wait, we explore other businesses until time was up. When we placed are order the sun was still out, and when we arrived to pick up the order, it was dark outside! Once I entered in, the line was already crowded, so not only that I had to wait in the line- I later found out that they didn't even attempt to hide the fact that my order wasnt even made! Once I addressed the situation to the cashier, the older man moved the cashier to the side and said "I got her". Then literally start preparing my meal I placed an hour ago...if matters can't get worst. I seen multiple people who had walk-ins get their food before mine. And to clarify, my order wasnt big. The older man became defensive once I told him about my order and it even came to the point where he started to splurge out unprofessional biased insults to me. Saying things like "You're not welcomed here "and you are ruining my business " "Don't come back " I had to tell this man, I rather write in a review that argue.
The older guy who I'm assuming is the owner is so nice! We went to pick up food and there were people coming in and out nonstop and he was talkative and polite with everyone. You can tell he has loyal customers, not only because of how good the food is, but how friendly and polite he is! They have delicious pizza, steaks, and subs (so hard to not call it a hoagie after growing up in Philly ?) but this place is awesome and you should check it out!
If there is better food served by more hard working people than Little Anthony's then someone would have to prove it to me!I've been coming here since 2006. The place is always busy. But the food is always excellent. And the guys there are awesome. The Stromboli and pizza are incredible. I love this place.
First update your closing times online. Second if people walk in 9:20 don't look at them like "why are you here?", simple answer is because the internet says you're open until 10, in fact, online says you're still open. I hate when small business forgets about customer service. Hello.. you make a living selling your food to people like us. Word of mouth goes a long way, and first impressions last for ever. You could at least ask, "what would you like, we close at 9:30 here are your choices."
Ordered ham and cheese hoagie with provolone, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, oil and vinegar- it was super good, big enough for two to split- really tasted fresh. Wife and both thought it was fantastic. Also ordered a slice of plain cheese pizza and took it home- tasted real nice as a leftover. I though $2.00 for plain slice is a good price unders today's standards. All staff members were super friendly.
Grumpy person taking the orders on the phone Reviews on google were 4.5. That’s insane… This is floppy not cooked on the bottom crap pizza. No flavor to the sauce, toppings were decent in the amount ; but guess they don’t know what the temp of the oven should be to make good crust and start the browning of cheese and toppings. Would never return - threw away the rest of the whole Pie after 1 and a half slices.
Best pizza ever had I've eaten them all and the best cheesesteaks. I'm everywhere in Delaware it's always something with the pizza cheese steaks & Subs so I quit going anywhere else. I just go there I know what I'm going to get.
The food is subpar, but the customer service has a lot to be desired. Very rude when speaking on the phone to customers. The man yells & screams at you when giving your order. Remember, your customers keep you in business. Learn to respect people.
If you're looking for good quality family owned pizza restaurant, this is that place!Tomato sauce & cheese used is great, and best of all the crispiness of the crust. Additionally, the breaded mushrooms and broccoli bites are great appetizers.
