Food was horrible, first time back in multiple years. Ordered three piece meal, chicken was salty, pieces have shrink and had a stale grease taste to it. The biscuit that came with it was half the size of what I remembered and it was doughy. Mashed potatoes were so, so, the best think in the whole meal was the cold slaw. Bottom line , I ate the Cole slaw and threw the rest away. Grand total $11.19 wasted
So I came to the drive thru with my husband, the person taking orders was extremely rude, sounds like she wasn't happy for the fact we were ordering food.... maybe we were disrupting something, but even this way, it wasn't necessary to be so rude. This is definitely not the KFC that I was used to eat. Never again.... lost a loyal customer.
Avoid this KFC location at all costs.I regret that I went to this KFC location today at 1 pm. This location has notoriously given tiny broken chicken wings, and I ordered a two-piece #2-original. As I communicated with the cashier over the intercom, the rude manager jumped into the conversation (apparently, all headsets hear the drive-thru discussions).When I received my order, I pulled over to the park to begin eating. I looked into the box, and I had a small, deformed wing; the most significant part of the wing was missing, just a nub. Quality of food is a recurring issue here, and even though it was raining, I got out of my car and walked back to the drive-thru window to ask for a replacement wing.I showed the window attendant (a young man) the two-inch deformed wing, and he said, "what's wrong with it?" He pretended to be puzzled. I asked him to get his manager because I wanted the wing replaced. That was a mistake; she did not help the situation at all. She inflamed the situation.She looked at me and said, "well, I do not look at the wings." Then she said another excuse, "What if they are all like that?" Then she raised her two arms at me and continued to rationalize. I said it is obvious you want the last word. Then I said, "look, I am the customer. Are you going to make it right with the customer?" She slammed the two drive-thru mini windows and stormed off! Another employee appeared after 2 minutes with a wing on extended tongs and dropped them in my box without saying a word. The manager did not have a leadership or customer-first attitude to walk back over! She was extremely rude.I did not eat the chicken as the new wing had some wet yellow substance, which I assume was batter from the tongs. I wasted $7.19, but it is a lesson finally learned. I will never stop there again, and I advise any potential customer do the same.I will check this post from time to time to respond to comments or questions, inviting the ownership to respond. Tonight, 4/23/2022 a lady really said "it's about time" when I pulled up and stated my name to pick up my mobile order, I said "you said what ? why was that necessary" she says "your order has been ready for 20 minutes"...dawg it takes that to get there with lights/traffic.....she then proceeds to rudely say "pull around to the window and have your phone out with your name on the order so I know it's you"This is the KFC on 13 in New Castle in front of the farmer's market. The one on 40 in Bear (Fox Run) also did me dirty the last time I went, had already ordered and paid for my food on the app and when I got there they said they were closed (90+ minutes before their posted closing time) and then were outside smoking cigarettes.These companies seriously hire anyone nowadays, man. They're all desperate because nobody wants to work anymore. Customer service is a thing of the past. It's only gonna get worse I guess lol.
This is so nasty I found what ever that is in my food smfh it’s no cheese in it the chicken taste like it got cooked this morning.. never ever ordering food from here again.
Very disrespectful and rude staff. They take forever and rush you when you order. Do not recommend this location.
Came here to try the meatless nuggets. The girl working the drive-thru window had a horrible attitude. The nuggets were okay, I will give them a second try.
Then chicken was old. It was hard and difficult to eat. It felt like it had been left out overnight (though I feel that it was probably from earlier in the day most likely). The employees I interacted with were friendly enough.
Had to try the chicken sandwich. Still think Popeyes is the winner in a squeaker. It was hot and fresh. We'll done, Colonel.
Very upset!! We have never eaten at kfc before it's our first time.. we will never come back!! We asked the lady in the box if she could give us a minute cause we have never been here before she said sure!! But then after that she was so rude by the time we got to the window we didn't want food any more.. ordered 2 meals= my meal was 5pc with 2 sides for 10.99( I opened the box they only gave me 1side) my hubby ordered 5pc hot comes with 1 side and pickles $9something( he opened his it barely had the sauce on them and no pickles) Thanks now I know not to come here any more. You should hired people who want to work and be nice!
