Food was good. Steak was cooked as asked. We had to get our own silverware. Then we had to get waters from the bar because the ones we ordered never came. The waitress never checked on us after delivering the food. There is definitely a disconnect happening here.

Service was very good. We frequently stop here on the way home for what was a consistently decent sirloin. This was not the case today. The steaks were over done, tough and tasteless. We didn't contact management; we were eager to get back on the road.

I have a gluten allergy and I can always find something on their menu to eat here. I love the atmosphere and if you are alone the bar is always open for loners that's where I eat most of the time. Texas Roadhouse got it going on here and no girl bring your family and friends.

We were seated at 7:05 on June 1, 2022. We ordered very quickly. My husband and I were with 2 others but we had 2 separate checks. One sirloin was very over cooked and guest sent it back. He got a new plate finally at 8:30, when everyone was finished eating and our plates had been cleared. My steak was slightly overdone, but I accepted it. There were so many flies flying around, we had to constantly swat them away. One fly landed on my steak and got caught in the sauce. I couldn’t eat another bite. I sent it back and asked to have it removed from our bill. Our bill came out several minutes later and my steak was still on the bill. We had to wait again for it to be removed. Service was extremely slow. We were offered no compensation for the late 2nd plate, or the fly in my food, making me not want to eat at all. The flies were out of control. There are things one can do to control the flies. When we mentioned the flies, we were told, “it’s that time of year.” I’ve been to many restaurants in the summer and never had so many flies around our food. If I had to guess, it was probably between 100 and 150 flies. There are things one can do to control the flies. This was our second time there since it opened, and our first time wasn’t a good experience either. This time sealed the deal. We’ll NEVER come back and we’ll warn our friends not to come as well.

We had the worst experience ever at Texas Roadhouse tonight . I’m very understanding and empathetic person and I understand that restaurants are suffering hard from being short staffed . However , I don’t see tonight being the result of that . Our server provided us with no silverware upon sitting down , no plates for our rolls for a family of 6 , she hardly checked on us for drinks , no one cleared our plates, or bussed everything sat . The bus boy was walking around and standing there . The food was brought out at all different times , two steak entrees were over cooked well done rather than medium rare and the one steak wasn’t even the correct cut of beef , the one entree was missing the shrimp combo . What’s even more crazy is that when I requested the manager come to our table all she said was “ all I can say is I’m sorry guys , we are short staffed , hope your experience next time is better “ . She didn’t offer to comp a meal , drinks , offer dessert , NOTHING . Just “ sorry guys better luck next time “ . NO THANKS . I really wish the town of Millsboro would get some decent family dinner establishments in this rapidly growing town because Grottos and Texas Roadhouse are really disappointing .

Good food and friendly staff

After having read many negative reviews and heard of long waits, I was a bit concerned when my husband chose this for his birthday lunch. BUT....it all worked out well. We decided to arrive when they opened, so that eliminated the worry about having a long wait for a table. The young man (didn't get his name) who took us to our table made a pleasant comment to my husband when he saw his Air Force cap. Our waitress, Hearli, was very pleasant and very attentive. We did not have a long wait for any of our food and it was all delicious. (I had to take some of mine home as after having some of our appetizer and some rolls, I was filling up quickly.) My filet was one of the best I've had anywhere and cooked perfectly. On our way out, a wait-staff person who hadn't dealt with us wished us a happy afternoon. I will say, by that time, there was a fair-sized line waiting for tables. It appears that they do not yet have enough staff to have all the tables open for customers. We'd go again but would probably opt for getting there just prior to opening......preferring to wait in our car for the restaurant doors to be unlocked than to stand inside and wait to be seated.

Hubby and I treated our daughter and son-in-law for her bday last week. Our 1st visit here. Very enjoyable evening. Food was yummy. Portions large. Service attentive but not overly so. We will be going back!

Went to eat here last night. Got two streaks and they were amazing!! Waiters and waitresses were also very sweet! One of the waiters was also very sweet with helping a woman to their car! Overall great service and atmosphere, i cannot wait to go again!:)

Jean and me went out for an early Valentines Day meal at Texas Roadhouse. I researched menu's and prices via the web today. Not only did Texas Roadhouse deliver bargain prices compared to many others but our meals were perfectly done and delivered by a caring staff. M Wherton was our server and he was outstanding; as good as any we've had in many years! Their wait staff really hustled for us and we'd be remiss if we didn't reach out and thank them. The food was prepared well, delivered hot and was tender and tasty. We'll be back
