Beautiful place and view, decorations very colorful. Waitress was totally uninterested in our dietary restrictions to garlic and onion . As a result one of us left unfed as the meal was delivered without regard. Waitress considered us a bother. Left her 20% as I thought she expected and deserved 0. They need to change some staff if they don't retire and sell
The food and atmosphere were good….. Generous portions! Bread basket was very good. BEWARE of totals on your bill. Mysteriously the price went up $10.00 from the dining table to the front counter where you pay…. I didn’t immediately catch the change….BEWARE!
We walked out. There was one other table that was eating. Server gave us menu's. 15 minutes go by before she takes our order. She had an attitude.Very unfriendly and awful service.
We were the only ones there and still had to go get the waitress when we needed something. We ordered the sweet potato fries and lasagna. The fries are usually very good but these were cut into huge wedges and were not seasoned very well at all. I could barely taste anything but potato. The lasagna came in this huge piece which looked daunting but at first bite I discovered it was cold. After sending it back once it came back still cold in the middle. I would have been more understanding if they were busy but nobody else was there the entire time. For the prices I expected much better service, flavor and the food to be brought out at least warm. Disappointing to say the least. I doubt I will be back.
We are new to the area and found this gem. Ordered the lasagna and it was fabulous! It was like my grandmother’s. It was a very large piece and I got to enjoy it for lunch again the next day. Our waitress was wonderful and the atmosphere was fabulous. We got to see the sun set a bit from our table. We will be going back, I’d like to try dessert.
Food was a bit above average. Quite a few other places for dinner in the area that easily have better food. The decor is quite nice. But looks like it all came out of the same catalog. Serendipity is 4*'s all day. But do to the shortcuts I mentioned above. It has no chance at a 5!
I've been a few times and honestly, I can take it or leave it. The service is painfully slow and this could be due to Covid (ate there end of Sept. 2021)...but, the food was not worth the wait....sorry. I think the place is interesting.
Like stepping back into the 60’s. A restaurant that serves Italian and Polish food along with seafood, but decorated with oriental objects including a ceiling covered in Chinese umbrellas hanging upside down.Enormous portions (the lasagna could feed 4). Nice location on the water but in a obscure location.Food was good not great but worth the trip if for nothing else then the experience.
Ordered the Lasagna. The sauce was so sweet I thought it was dessert. Anything with their sauce on is destroyed by how sweet it is. You can't even taste tomato. My husband ordered shrimp and scallop mac and cheese. It looked like it came from the children's menu. The shrimp and scallops were microscopic and the dish literally had no flavor. There was no choice of vegetables, salad, or soup but automatically came with brussel sprouts. Many people don't like brussel sprouts. I am not a picky eater and this was aweful. The owner should start reading the reviews and get a new chef. Great location if you are just going to order a drink, beautiful view.
Really neat eclectic place on the water. Food was amazing and their menu has something for everyone, plus it's delicious.
