Tried out this place for the first time today. My boyfriend ordered the double patty burger with everything on it with shoelace styled fries and a coke, I ordered the single patty burger with everything on it. Super delicious! These Pattie’s are the flat style (so if you don’t like flat patties then you probably won’t like these burgers).

The cashier was friendly but the food was disappointing. The burger tasted good but there was barely any meat. The French fries were not warm and reminded more of those small potato fry chips. The milkshake tasted yummy but needed a spoon or larger straw to enjoy it. I definitely do not recommend this place 2 meals and 2 shakes came to $30.00. Not worth the money at all.

They really need to get it together. I've had three bad experiences there the last three times I tried to give them a chance and it just never gets better.... Was once told they couldn't make shakes because that one person didn't come to work.... Their burgers and fries suck so milkshakes really are the only reason to go there.... The last time, I was argued with about the shake I requested because two of them are listed as Reese's, but only one says chocolate peanut butter, still got the wrong shake and when I went inside to get it fixed no one even acknowledged I had entered the store because they were all in the back goofing off. The guy in the drive thru didn't even offer me my receipt and just immediately crumpled it up and threw it away....

The Steak N Shake I was at was poorly cleaned especially mens bathroom. It also took more times than I wish to get napkins and ketchup that they forgot to include. I don’t know their problem but I already miss waiters and waitresses at Steak N Shake since I normally got much better service for customers.

No customers in the place, still took about 20 minutes to get our order. There was at least 4 people working, and even though no one else was there most of the tables and seats were dirty and sticky. When I went back up to order milkshakes 2 of the employees were sitting at a table in the corner on their phones and the drive thru guy had to come out and take my order and he made them. He and the cook seemed to be the only 2 doing any work. Food was unimpressive, milkshakes were OK.

Doesn't even deserve one star... completely incompetent staff. I got there and was the only vehicle in the drive thru, had to wait 15 minutes to get my order. The only thing right in my order was my drink. I ordered a large #1 combo (double CHEESE burger) and got a single patty no cheese or anything else. The burger wasnt even on the bun just thrown in the box with the bun. They gave me a small fry wich was cold and just thrown in the bag there were maybe 3 fries in the container. Not to mention I asked for ketchup and they told me I had to pay for condiments after they had already overcharged me for my meal...

Changed my review due to far better service now that COVID is over and you can eat indoors. Try the garlic butter burger, delicious. The shoestring fries are crisp and delicious as well as the shakes.

Burgers are made too small... You're basically eating just the bun, the lettuce and tomato and ketchup which is 85 to 90% of the whole sandwich. I didn't feel satisfied at all and I'm still hungry. Even the fries are flimsy at best. Nothing special.

Right now, with all the short staff issues, it did take some time in the drive thru to get to the ordering speaker, but the employees are always friendly, and the food is always excellent, it's worth the wait!

The man in charge (owner/manager?) was awesome. We drove 30 minutes to our closest Steak ‘n Shake for my nephews birthday, it’s his favorite burger place. The manager went over and beyond to accommodate us even though they were extremely short staffed and restricting dining hours.
