Took my 101 year old mother out for dinner.
This was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Emily was our server and was fantastic. Everything we ordered cane out in a timely manor and the food was delicious. I highly recommend dining at La Banca.

Our Waitress Hanna was above & beyond. She took very good care of us as well as her team. Service was spot on Food was well prepared Very Relaxing place.
We've been to this restaurant a few times over the past year since moving to Middletown. I must say and hope that our last visit yesterday was an anomaly as the food was not prepared up to the usual standard and there was an uneasy feeling from the staff as we walked through the restaurant to our outdoor seating.
It seemed a bit understaffed, but our server did a great job - she was busy! I love the House Salad, and my husband enjoyed the Heriloom Tomato starter. They've pared their menu down, so a dish that had been highly recommended by a friend is no longer offered. I thought the Rockfish entree was excellent. My husband is vegetarian, and there are not many choices of entrees for him. He got the mushroom pizza, which was too salty, but our server took it back and the second one was delicious. The strawberry rhubarb tiramisu sounded interesting but was fairly tasteless, so I wouldn't recommend that. This was our first time there, and we would go back. I did indicate on the reservation, and also told our server, that it was our 50th Anniversary. No perks were offered for that.
Very cool place- garlic bread is ridiculous. And order the martini with the cranberry juice- ask for sugar on the rim!
