I think that the course is nice and a good value, however while we were on the practice green, someone who we were told was the owner came up to us with a terrible attitude yelling at us to open our cooler in the back of the cart. I was so shocked by his attitude (confused and not knowing we had done anything wrong at the time) that I did react poorly and try to shy away from the truth, gathering from his tone that we weren’t supposed to bring our own drinks…After returning our drinks to our car I went back to him and just mentioned that I thought he had reacted quite strongly and was being rude to guests of his course that he should want to ensure are having a nice time at which point he yelled “If you don’t like how I run my course, leave… “ not a huge deal but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.In the end, I was in the wrong (without knowing it at first) but I felt like he blew the situation out of proportion and treated us very poorly.
We really enjoy going to Frog Hollow especially with the yummy pub food and wonderful bartenders while enjoying music bingo but…. the bathrooms are consistently filthy.
Best burger I’ve ever had hands down. My buddies got all different types of sandwiches and they all said the same. Apparently they had an ownership change and it has significantly improved. Think I might dream about that burger tonight…. ? beer was also very good

1st time playing here and the course was playing easier than usual (I would assume) because all of the tall grasses haven't grown in yet. By the looks of it, you really are going to have to make your shots to score well, miss by a little and you will be taking penalties. Lots of traps, but that is linx style golf. It didn't bother me as much, but my buddy hated the proximity of the houses to the course (he plays a slice), would like to play it again during the height of the season.
Nice little bar restaurant, seems very much during winter time when the golf course is not open a local hangout.Fish tacos were fantastic the burgers are fantastic and so with the fries for that matter.
Course was in decent shape, greens still recovering and slow.Guy behind the counter in pro shop was rude and off putting from check in.Pace of play was awful, over 1:10 to get through first 4 holes, no ranger or anyone to speed up groups taking forever. Then at 4:25pm the rude guy from behind counter comes out in cart and pushes everyone off course to be in by 430pm. We had 2 holes left and plenty of daylight to finish! Where was he when we waited for 10 min at every tee? Total joke.UPDATE: In response to the manager: we did have a 1:20 tee time, but went off at 1240. We paid the advertised rate on Golf now. Because it was cheaper, does that absolve the course of politeness and a decent pace of play? I believe my main points were rudeness from staff and needlessly pushing people in on final 2 holes when they should have been finished already had ANYONE on staff managed the backup.
Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name and they are always glad you came and they have Pissy Rickles on deck! Awesome food, great service!
My associate membership at Frog Hollow is fantastic! The course is challenging and well worth the effort trying to beat the course. I love it.
