The food is always good, but the staff is always overwhelmed. It appears as if they are trying to have an assembly line style setup. The only problem is they are very disorganized causing them to take order after order. The result is you order an sandwich and 6 people after you get their order first. This is not just a one off incident it is every time you go there.
We love the service and the sandwiches! We've lived here a bit over 3 years, moved from SC, where our Jersey Mike's experience was not good and we were hesitant to try here. So we just started going to this one in Dover and what a difference! So glad we can count on these subs, thanks!
Normally I LOVE Jersey Mike's subs. Today we went in to the Dover Delaware location for sandwiches. They told us their card machine wasn't working and they would only accept EXACT change, and would not take a check. We only had semi large bills, (tens and twenties), no singles or coin. Disappointed, we had to leave hungry. It should have been easy enough for one of the staff to make a trip to a bank to get change versus turning customers away on a weekday.
What a disappointment to discover that one of the subs we ordered today was made incorrectly.We ordered the Big Kahuna sub (chicken cheesesteak with mushrooms and jalapeños) but instead an inattentive employee made a Philly cheesesteak which I don't eat.It wasn't worth driving back into Dover as the Dover location is 30 minutes from our house.There is absolutely no excuse for this error as we placed the online order the night before .

Messed up our first order, then gave us a raw Phili cheese steak… I get that the first part happens. But serving raw food that is SUPPOSED to be cooked….. unacceptable.
My first time there in Del. It was clean and the staff were courteous and had very good customer service. I ordered 2 subs which were good and made as I ordered them. I wouldn't put any left overs in fridge some not so appetizing happens to the bread couldn't eat the next day, never had that problem with other sub rolls from other places.
Awful awful service! Waited over 40 minutes for my sandwich and when I finally got it it was missing ingredients. Also they processed someone else's order ahead of mine who came in after I did. I had to wait for the sandwich to be corrected and it was sloppy work. I'll never go back. I would give it MINUS 5 STARS if that were possible. Worst sandwich shop EVER!!!
I worked at jersey mikes for multiple years and I understand the goals and visions that jersey mikes has. Today I waited in line for 30 mins, 10 mins of my wait the line didn’t move and not once was I conversed with. More then 1 customer walked out. The employees didn’t look happy to be there and the customers where upset. It did look like there was a new worker there and it did look understaffed at the time but 30+ mins no conversation it seemed so long. What’s suppose to makes Jersey mikes different then other sub shops is making the customer wanting to come back. The womens hair were too long and one womens hair was touching the counter where she was putting on the sides. The place looked very unorganized and I actually felt bad for the customers and employeesg because they seemed to have no guidance.
Shout-out to the team working at this location! Always great service and they were nice enough to take a last minute order on Christmas Eve.
