Service is friendly and awesome. The food is great. We have been eating here weekly since it's opening a distance of 16 miles from our home.
A local stop. Been here dozens of times. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Food is good, normal Texmex style cuisine. Definitely not hard-core authentic but prepared well. Good drinks.
It’s okay. Margaritas way too sweet. Chips and salsa were good. Do not order guacamole it was like baby food just a purée of avocado. Burritos are small.
The last few times I've gotten food from here, the key ingredients were missing. I got tacos for dinner that were missing the lettuce and cheese that comes with them on the menu. The hot sauce and the Pico de Gallo were on the side, and that's fine. My tacos were all meat and nothing else. I don't know if there's a misunderstanding, or maybe they think people won't notice, or they just forgot or didn't care. The meat was also pretty dry... like it had been sitting for a while. I wanted to say something last time.
It took over an hour for us to get our taco bowl and fajitas. While a table of 4 came in after us received their food before us. We had to ask for plates to eat our appetizer on. We asked for extra napkins but never received. Our server didn't realize that we didn't have our food until like 45 minutes into our visit. When the food came out it was barely warm/cold. The fajitas plate was sizzling hot but the food was not. We were given a no apologetic "sorry". We opted to leave. No compensation or incentives were offered to us. It was my first time trying this place. Bummer!
I’m so disappointed in the customer service over the phone that I have chosen to never go there again!! I have been eating at their establishments from Dover to Dewey Beach for years and have never had such a horrible experience ordering. I wish the small business community would open their eyes and welcome the orders they feel they deserve with respect for their customers and understand what it takes to be top of their game - I wish you luck.
We've eaten at El Azteca a couple times recently, and have been very pleased with quality of food, its presentation and fair pricing. The wait staff were attentive, but not in your face. Highly recommend this establishment!
3 stars agreed upon by all 5 family members (kids and adults who all like Mexican food). The food was what we all refer to as 'meh.' We've had really good Mexican and really bad and a lot of in-between. While there was some heat where it should have been, besides that, the food was honestly lacking in flavor other than salty. We each ordered a meal of soft and hard tacos or burritos (2 chicken, 1 ground beef, 1 steak), 1 meal salad, and the appetizer platter. This review applied across the board to all our selections. We ate it. It was okay. I will try someplace else next time. (We did take away service, but the restaurant was clean inside, and the staff we encountered were friendly.)

Absolutely love it here. The service can be slow but everyone is so pleasant and helpful. The food is always great and the margaritas are massive, plus the prices are very reasonable. Even getting it as take out is good. The only thing i dont like is the carnitas. They were so dry they were inedible and I could even swallow a bit of tortilla with the meat on there.
