I wanted a quick breakfast and this was the place. I had the egg and bacon sandwich which was good. The service was fast and it was a great price (unexpectedly low for DC). Worth a return trip.
We visited today 5th April 8.30am Really quick service, very clean and welcoming place. Food was great quality and hot. Coffee tasted of coffee which after some of the coffee in NYC was a welcoming surprise. All in all $18 for two full breakfasts, two large coffees and a Dr Pepper, you really cannot complain at that
Firstly a lot of usual breakfast places in DC Downtown no longer open early and no longer provide breakfast due to the small number of Govt and other office workers going into the City. We stumbled across this place after trying some other locations. The host was a lovely lady and we really enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches and beautiful coffee. Would go back again in a heartbeat Currently open 7am -3pm
Convenient spot for us to stop in to enjoy a quick breakfast. We were able to order ans receive our breakfast sandwiches quick. I really liked the options for cookies, I had to grab a few black and white cookies to bring back home with me. The prices are really good and they have a little bit of everything. My egg ham and cheese on toasted bread was pretty good, simple. The bread was a bit spongey, as if it was not "real" bread. The bagels did look yummy. Hubby enjoyed his sausage and cheese on an everything bagel. Both sandwiches were decent in size.
I ate at your cafe while attending the COE Leadership Summit and Policy Conference. It seemed like the entire conference came to your cafe at one time. The line was out the door. But your staff was awesome in moving the line and getting everyone’s order correct and timely.I purchased the chicken cheesesteak sub with potato chips. I wanted french fries but you don’t sale them. I wished my sandwich had a little more meat but it was good. Your restaurant was neat and clean. Your staff outstanding! Thank you for helping me enjoy my time in our US Capitol.
Great Cafe right off the Mall if you need somewhere inside to sit down and eat, with lots of seating.Large menu with a huge variety of options. Good, quality deli sandwiches
The hot drinks are not good. Possibly the worst hot chocolate ever. Tasted like old milk, warm water and white chocolate? Also about 2 inches of foam on top. The milky way cappuccino was ok. Not strong or smooth or tasty or hot and also had so much foam on top, it leaked out the sides and top of the lid.Only restaurant/cafe we visited in DC where the service wasn't friendly. After standing at the counter for more than 5 minutes in front of the barista, we finally had to Ask who we could order with, before she acknowledged us. The lady who checked us out at the register was very friendly though and the cafe was clean. Overall, not impressed
Very good place. The food is really good. They work hard and fast. Very good prices.A good place with a lot of tables too.
Inside ordering and food preparation was efficient and safe. Outside dining was comfortable, safe, and spacious for social distancing.
Friendly service, had a great BLT! There are a few electrical outlets but not many for anyone wanting to charge a device.
