Struggled to find decent places for breakfast before realising that this was on our doorstep (next door to The Henley Park Hotel). We fancied pancakes and after some menu confusion over the “pancake platter”, we ended up with just a side of pancakes and wasn’t disappointed. Would definitely recommend.
Try to grab breakfast here whenever I'm here. No frills, great staff and super yummy burritos, sandwiches and other morning treats. You won't be disappointed.
Friendly staff, nice ambience, decent lunch options. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite!
I go here for lunch almost daily. The only thing I dislike is that they close at 2pm. Otherwise, great experience and great food and atmosphere!
Fresh salads that taste great.
The menu selection at West Wing Cafe is phenomenal. My sandwich was superbly made and quite delicious. It would help if they offered a wider variety of chips or fries to accompany hot sandwiches.
I highly recommend this deli. The food is excellent and always well-prepared and timely. They use Boars Head, which is a must for delis. It's surprising how few delis in DC have BH. The salads are great too. The people who run the deli are very warm and friendly. I've lived in NYC and the tri-state area and grew up on good delis, and I can confidently say this is a good deli.
Quick review:Very impressed. Quick dine in or out, easy spot to wait to be picked up by car, and delicious food. Large menu, not so well for off-the-street people but good to keep you coming back. Employees know their stuff and are always working to keep the store clean and help customers. Prices a bit much, but expected for DC. Plenty of decent indoor and outdoor seating.Long review:Accessibility is nice, just across the street from the Marriot Marquis. You can also wait inside or outside while waiting for people to pick you up in a car.Menu is large, hard to get a good grasp on what they have available if you're just walking in off the street. But if you like going to the same place over and over, the variety will definitely keep you coming back.Food is delicious and doesn't take too long to make. I ordered the New Yorker sandwich, and a Twilight Delight smoothie and both took about ten minutes.Staff is smiling, friendly, and quick. They're always moving and working to clean the store and help customers.Prices are a little high, paying nearly $16 just for a sandwich and smoothie is a bit much, but also expected in DC.Seating is nice and spaced, chairs off in the corner and comfortable cushioned stools. Outside tables are great for sunny weather.
Best place to grab a deli sandwich in the city! They are sorely missed during COVID-19
Great place to get food made fresh!
