Best kept secret in Washington, DC! I've been shopping here for 37 years and have never been disappointed. The cakes, cookies, pastries, hand made quality chocolates and the coffee by the cup has consistently been fresh and delicious. I especially have bought a lot of the almond butter cookies over the years for all occasions, birthdays, bridal and baby showers, dinner parties, office, and even for home. I think its bargain for the price. Not cheap, but not expensive either. The service is always pleasant, laid back, professional and attentive. I love this little place! My favorite pastry shop in the US! My family has been coming here my whole life, maybe before I was born. They have some pastries here 5hat I've never had anything close to. (The Grand Marnier, amazing! ) I adore this place.
Spectacular dark chocolate mousse. Probably the best that I have ever had. It was moist, decadent, rich, anything that you want in a chocolate mousse. And the decorations were so professional and sharp, it was a shame to ruin them to eat the cake itself! Definitely would recommend that you try any of their delicious pastries here.

I ordered a 10" tiramisu as a gift for a friend's birthday. She loves tiramisu and she said it was wonderful. I wish I would have taken a picture of it before I gave it to her - it looked yummy. Service was great and I am happy Watergate Pastry is still around. I am excited for when things are back to normal and we can visit and pick up pastries\cookies, etc. Thank you!

My experience was absolutely perfect! The ordering and pick up process couldn't have been easier. The cake was just what my husband wanted for his 40th birthday. (He couldn't wait to have more for breakfast!) It was delicate and delicious. I can't wait to have an excuse to order again!
