We were going to have a snack before the show at the Kennedy Center but it was "closed for a private event". Nothing on the website. Oh well. The Mediterranean place across the street is hopping because everyone had their plans blown up.Update: I double checked and now there is a tiny banner at the top of the page saying they are closed today. I definitely don't remember it being there yesterday.
It has beautiful vibes and great atmosphere to enjoy with family and friends. The staff is really nice and have great views of Potomac River.
Beautiful Space great for everyone but fun for kids and dogs to run around . The Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup is amazing !! Cider and Hot Chocolate are also delicious! Staff !!! Amazing friendly helpful all around Gems !
This is a nice spot, but the staff was not very friendly to us.I would come again but bring my own water (which they say you can’t do on their website) I should edit that, one staff member was helpful and one was not. The restaurant also does not have very many options food and drink wise and does not provide tap water to drink (which is against the law). We tried to get water and were told to get it out of the bathroom tap??? Very odd, not to mention gross. Prices were usual for DC. It is a nice spot but needs to execute better to live up to the Kennedy Center standard.
This place is a cool little hidden gem. I really recommend this place to go for casual drinks. You could bring your kids or pet. It's cool.
