Very loud. I wish either upstairs or downstairs had decreased noise level like it used to be previously. Itâs so loud you canât hear your guests speak or have a good conversation. Aside that food, drinks, hookah was on point
Customer service not great.
Iâve been to Victory in Miami several times and I love it. Unfortunately the same canât be said about the DC location. First of all itâs a really small space and on a saturday night it was packed to capacity but my best friend was excited to visit for her birthday. they had a dj who was really good but the noise was so loud i couldnât even hear my friend and we spent the night having to text each other in order to talk. We arrived at 10:15 reservation and were seated immediately but at a wobbly table right by the door and it was a crowd of people overtop of us at another booth that spilled over into our area plus the hostess kept having ti squeeze by with other guest. it literally took about an hour and several request for anyone to take our drink order. we were then informed that we had to wait an additional 30 minutes to put in a food order because the kitchen closes from 10:30-11:00. at about 11:20 the waitress came back with our drinks i got a lemon drop that had no lemon in it and literally tasted like minute maid juice i couldnât even taste the liquor. my friend had a sweet red that was served in a dirty champagne flute that literally had things floating in it so we sent it back. I ordered the victory shrimp which were literally 4 burnt fried shrimp with something that tasted like thousand island dressing on it, my friend got fries that were soggy and tasted like theyâd been cooked in fish grease she also got fried fish that wasnt cooked all the way through. we had to ask for silverware several times and that took like another 20 minutes to recieve plastic carry out cutlery! Overall it was a lack luster experience for the $200 plus we paid not including added gratuity and tip. Also the hookah was $70!!! crazy
Kesha was an amazing host and Taren was an amazing bartender!!! I love victory
Everything was great BUT THE SERVICE . Our waitress was HORRIBLE . My table had to ask for help from the bar so many times . Then to top it off there was a big in my drink
First date night in a very long time with my husband and was truly disappointed. Seat was moved three times, food was subpar, no real silverware only plastic cutlery for a $50+ entree, service was unbelievably slow and drinks took forever although it was barely packed. OH! And the AC was broken, mildly pumping or other⦠too small of a place to be this hot. Huge supporter of black owned businesses however, not impressed.
I was not impressed at all! The place is extremely small and the food was just ok. The a/c was broken in the middle of the summer too. Wouldnât rush back
I loved it. The food was great the vibes were awesome. I just hated the music was sooooooo loud I could barely order my food and drinks. I had ordered a drinks separate from the mimosas but she could barely hear me so we didn't get them. I can't wait to go back. It was my birthday brunch.
I thought the food was average and pricey. There was no air circulation in the space. Breathing was difficult there. I don't think I would return there.
Will visit again
