Pizza rio uno is a wonderful place for me and my family. however, today at around 4:50 pm, on Father's day, the man working at the front desk was extremely rude to my mother. He screamed at her where he had no place, and slammed things around, when she tried to make a SUGGESTION, which was to make a sign telling people the place was closed so he wouldn't go through any trouble. That experience was horrible, and traumatized my mother. No worker should EVER yell at any customer let alone a person trying to make a suggestion.

We enjoyed delicious pizza at the Uno Pizzaria & Grill in Washington. Great service!

I dont usually post reviews and im not very harsh but to be frank, I would give negative stars. So im going here for my DC trip and first thing I see when i sit at a table, dirty utensils and cake cutters. Already iffy about the place now and then I see dirty plates, and cups. How can I eat in peace with dirty plates, cups, and silverware? Not to mention, the undercooked food. This was overall a bad experience and I 10000% recommend not coming here.

Building was too warm and few servers. Food nothing special

Tried to go 2 times. First day, my reservation was when the restaurant was closing. Second day, no one bothered to let us in, so I have no idea if the food is good or not.

Eating here is always an experience. This time our server actually berated us for paying our bill with a credit card. You see, that means her tip will be subject to tax and she doesn't want that. She proceeded to instruct us that the next time we eat there, we need to bring cash because she wants a cash tip that's off the books. She said she "educates" all of her customers about this, so I guess management allows it.I really think that if this restaurant wasn’t in a train station, where dining options are sorely limited, it would not still be open.

Covid has really done a number on shops at Union Station it was sad to see so many empty stores. I was delighted to see UNO was still there, looking a little shook and disheveled but the deep pan pizza was as good as ever. We three had the honey barbecue chicken bites starter to share it was a fine portion and it was tasty but should have been hotter [ what is it with US restaurants inability to get food hot to the tables???] followed by fish and chips and deep pan pizza. Everything was tasty. A wine and beer and one dessert pushed Bill to $80 . Usually this place is jointed and you need to queue very quiet today.

I’ve had UNO’s but this experience, if it’s the one in Union Station, just wasn’t good. The food was decent and the service was horrible. The good came out before the appetizers. Drinks were never refilled. We didn’t even get everything we ordered. It just wasn’t a great experience.

Me and my family were traveling in town and seen this locations had UNO’s which was great . The service was exceptional and the cashier was great. I didn’t appreciate the GM manager yelling at the cashier in front of customer. Telling her she needs to move faster and hurry up. Things like that she be talked about in close doors . Not we’re customers can hear you two tables away. The ladies and food was amazing though.

I'm sorry, the food is great, but this is the only way to tell Google to stop recommending them to me. It's inside Union Station and I don't want to be directed there again.
