Came here alone one night after work for a beer and food, entered through the patio where the was a sign that said "wait here to be seated". So I did. I sat there for 10 minutes while the bartender walked past me 5 or 6 times before acknowledging I was there. When he did, his first words to me were "Can I help you?" in a snotty tone. I replied yeah sign says wait to be sat, and he rolled his eyes and said "Sit wherever you want". Waitress only came over after 10 minutes to take food and drink order. After everything came out, only saw her again when she said, "Would you like the check?". Only reason this review is getting a 2 star and not 1 is because the food was actually ok and not absolute trash.During my time, the bartender just openly complained about anything and everything and was just not an over all pleasant person. I have been back one time since, didn't get any attitude, but service was slow as hell. Likely won't be coming back unless I have no other option or am really hungry and dont want to wait.

It’s a nice place to stop as there a great patio area and it’s close to activities. We got there on a Saturday when it opened so the service was fine. The food was disappointing. Ordered from the brunch menu - the cheesy French toast was terrible! Flavorless, crusty, cold and barely any cheese. Otherwise the menu was the usual bar food which seemed fine. Hubby had the burger and said it was “OK”. We were here a few years ago on a week day and it had a great lunchtime vibe!

Unbelievably aggressive and condescending manager. She spoke to my partner in an incredibly demeaning manner and refused us service when I asked her not to speak to us that way.

I ordered buffalo wings and sweet potato fries for pickup. It took about 15-20 minutes. I get there, and they tell me they're out of sweet potatoe fries. So they gave me regular fries instead. I was okay with that. However, when I checked my food, I saw they gave me barbecue wings. They took the food back to the kitchen, came back 2 minutes later and said my order was fixed. I check the food, and the "buffalo" wings looked really dark. The chicken looked different from before, but lighting made it hard to really tell. After coming home to better lighting, and taking a bite, I realized they really did toss the barbecue wings in buffalo sauce. Even the fries still had barbecue residue on them. I may have gotten my money back, but that was a lot time wasted on disappointment.

Another very nice venue and very popular happy hour gathering place. Patriots are very friendly and happy. Also employees appear to be happy and seem to love their job and the people that come there...

Definitely check out Union Pub! The bartenders were so sweet and the food was just awesome. Really great atmosphere both outside and in the back at the bar. Check it out asap!

Great outdoor space for those not ready for indoor mingling yet. Remember to pack your proof of vaccination and photo ID (not on phone). Drinks are reasonably priced though service was a little slow.

Food is decent for a bar, but service is shoddy, bartending is very hit or miss, and they don’t split checks.

Visited friends in town and stopped by Union Pub. Chris at the bar was great- and when we moved to a table Cintia took good care of us. Good food- good drinks- nice staff- will definitely be back!

Super fun place in DC - great vibe, service and cocktails. Thanks to Chris and Cintia for showing me and my friends a great time! Get the wings!!!
