I’ve been waiting to try this Uncle Chip’s cinnamon bun for a very long time. Uncle chip can be seen from North Capitol road based on its teal color. I’ve seen many ads for the cinnamon bun. I’m thankful for experience. They have a friendly team and an AMAZING cinnamon bun. Off the charts. Highly recommend.
Uncle Chip's is a great sandwich and cookie shop. I highly recommend you visit and have any of the tasty sandwiches and follow it up with a cookie. Don't forget the assortment of teas and lemonade. I love this small business and try to visit when I am in this part of town. You can't go wrong. Every item is made with care and it shows. Love Uncle Chip's shop.
I went in to get a cinnamon roll this morning, which was amazing, but I also ordered a turkey sandwich while I was there, and I was too full to eat it after the cinnamon roll. Now it’s 4:50. I took ONE bite of the turkey sandwich at 4:30 and put it back so I’d still be hungry for dinner tonight. I’ve gone back to the fridge, unwrapped the sandwich, taken a bite, and put it back 6 times now. The sandwich is so good. I cannot stop. The sandwich is nearly gone now. Highly recommend.
Shannon and the team at Uncle Chip's are incredible. I first used them for an extremely last-minute work lunch order and we've been going back since. The sandwiches and salads are great, and the cookies are the best. They remember the smallest of details to make every returning customer feel special. I now go there, even when I'm off, to get my favorite sandwich.

Our 7th grade trip to DC was complete with a bulk order of Uncle Chips cookies! We ordered 230 cookies for our students and parent chaperones. They were delicious! The cookies were delivered to our hotel, and after a long day of touring it was just what we needed!! Thank you Uncle Chips for fabulous service and deliciousness!

Uncle Chip's has everything you need. My go-to is the Embassy of Turkey with chips and a lemonade, but you can't go wrong with their cookies, breakfast sandos, (vegan!) blueberry muffins or weekend cinnamon rolls. Super convenient take out window, but they've also got tables out front and they offer delivery. Try the frozen lemonade when it's available!!
