Smaller place but the food was excellent. Close to nearby hotels which was good since we were travelling from out of town. Noise level was high due to the two small rooms but bearable. I would recommend if you like Italian food.

First time at Tortino and the Yelp reviews were not wrong! What a charming place with a neighborhood feel. My friend and I had a table outside, right on the rail -- we had the whole space. We shared one of everything and our food was delicious -- soft warm bread, seared scallop appetizer, spinach salad, crab ravioli and for dessert: chocolate SALAMI -- sounds weird -- get it! We each had a Go Green (with vodka instead of gin) -- YUM. And our server, Jason, was excellent at his job. He was so personable, efficient, attentive -- A+. We both enjoyed very much and will absolutely be back.

The food just wasnât good. The ravioli was clearly store bought, the calamari was rubbery, and my dates veal was apparently so salty that it was hard to eat. And the service, while friendly, was super slow. Really disappointed because we wanted this to be a great place.

Tortino was the best dining experience I've had this year, and quite possibly on par with the best experience I've ever had. I stumbled upon a review of Tortino through Airbnb. My fiancé and I booked a reservation for 2, and sat down 2 hours before closing. We were swiftly seated and the level of patience afforded as we navigated the menu was perfect. The puréed carrot, cauliflower, and goat cheese soup was perfect. The calamari was fresh, the octopus salad is a cannot miss. You will be pleased with the wine selection. We wrapped our meal up with a chocolate and ice cream dish, and a Crème fraí®che fruit dish!!!! You will want to try everything + specials. To top all of this off, I started this meal with my fiancé. A good friend in town decided to meet us halfway through our meal. I was slightly concerned about accommodating him so late in our meal. As soon as my friend walked in, a few waiters worked to combine tables to accommodate us. Just a great experience!! Kudos to the staff that made our night. Definitely a neighborhood restaurant, welcoming to all. We will be back. Lamar
