Hawaiian Tacos Shaved Ice

The poke was really good! It was the most similar to Hawaii that I’ve seen on the mainland.

Honestly some of the best tacos you’ll find in the city. The Jerk Chicken is ?. They all are, plus the shaved ice is a great refresher.Seriously recommend the Jerk Chicken, Fried Chicken, and the Ground Beef (sounds plain but is super flavorful)Will always be the go to taco place for us.

They had a very small dining room. The service was quick and easy. I had the Caribbean jerk tacos.

So, I don't usually do reviews but I had to make an exception for this place. I ordered the pineapple wings, jerk chicken burrito and fries. Everything was so delicious. The fries were so amazing, made fresh from cut potatoes not frozen. They give you so much food. It's definitely worth everything penny. Best place to eat at hands down.

Super delicious poke bowl. We got traditional with a side of spicy mayo. Taco trip - coco shrimp, fried chicken, blackened salmon. Everything was so good!!!

Got a variety of tacos and the beet salad. Terrific flavours, every bite made me happy and I'll definitely be back to try more of their offerings. Nom nom nom!

Last Sunday, I went to the DuPont fresh market. Tiki taco is one of my fave spots for poke and tacos and thought I should stop by after the fresh market. I saw online as well as on the front door of the restaurant that their NEW hours on Sunday are from 1pm-9pm.At exactly 1pm, I went to Tiki Taco and stood by the front door. After approx. 5 mins, Tiki had a line of customers (about 3 parties) waiting for their doors to open. Minutes went by and the door was still closed, lights were off. I went down to check and saw someone prepping in the kitchen. Went back up and waited with the others. By 1:15pm, ppl started getting impatient and started leaving. I went back down and peaked. Again, lights off but someone was in the kitchen, blasting music and what looked like prepping things. I knocked on the door and the guy looked at me, and TOTALLY IGNORED ME. He went back to his business...AT 1:45 PM, yes you heard me right, the guy comes out and explains that Tiki Taco is understaffed and their cashier has not arrived yet?! Like excuse me?! You had 45 mins after your supposedly opening hour to come tell me this? Furthermore, he seemed out of place and extremely rude. I cannot believe I waited for 45 mins after their opening hour to get told that they have no cashier and that they couldn't open. Of course, I left disappointed. This shows the true colors of the business. Not great at all! It sucks because I would come here a lot before the pandemic!P.S I am still looking for an explanation to what exactly happened so if anyone from this business can reach out me, I would appreciate it.

Owner is awesome and so is the food!

The food was oh so good! Can’t recommend the loco moco, salmon shoyu poke, and the mac salad enough.
