Amazing nightlife... Upstairs is turned into a dance floor and the DJ is great at reading the crowd and keeping everyone hype. Be ready to dance because the crowd is there to have a great time and let loose. Alot better vibes compared to places in Adams Morgan

Pretty overpriced for the quality. Also got charged for multiple coffees even though it was “bottomless” bc I asked them to pour it over ice. When I asked why that wasn’t included in the bottomless coffee they said it was bc of the “manual labor to pour it into a cup of ice”… not sarcastically lol.Would not go back for brunch

Great service, beers and happy hours! What else!

Always a nice, fun, laid back experience. Always a great mix of entertaining events, from dance night to comedy to theme nights. Great beer/drink selection, and great basic bar food. My favorite dive bar. Plenty of outdoor seating, and plenty of bicycle parking.

Avoid At all costs. Would give 0 stars if that was an option. The staff are incredibly rude (especially the doorman). When leaving we mentioned to the doorman that our jackets were still hanging up and we requested to get them but they would not let us. We were then told that our jackets were in fact not our jackets, somebody else was wearing it and they said it was theirs. The doorman were shown photographs and receipts to prove they were actually ours but they responded with “they said it’s their jacket and you’re drunk so it must not be your jacket”.However, we returned the following day to try again, to find both jackets still hanging where we left them. All of this could have been avoided if only the doorman would have let us retrieve them or if they brought them down for us. I would like to say a massive thank you to Kate behind the bar who let us check and retrieve them.

My friend and I went on a Friday night for a quick drink before heading to Makan. This restaurant was a sit yourself kind of place. However, no one told us. We sat at the bar only to be to be told by the bartender to sit outside if we wanted to drink outside. The staff was rude and took forever to help serve us. Albeit, the restaurant was packed and it was Friday. But at least, try to acknowledge your customers if this a seat yourself kind of place. There are tons of other places in DC that have better service and food. The crowd was also a bit young and pretentious.

Great beer and cider choices along with full bar and excellent pub food. Grab the wings extra crispy and enjoy the beer garden or sidewalk ssetting. You'll be an instant regular.

I’ve been here hundreds of times over the last 10+ years. Great place to hang, especial during Covid with their expanded outdoor seating. Not fancy, but a place you can bring your baby and dog.Brunch is a personal favorite especially the egg skillets. Happy hour deals are solid (even if I miss the 25 cent tacos from 10 years ago!). The burgers are probably my favorite item on the regular menu. Fried pickles are probably overrated by try them once. Don’t worry, you’ll find your way back here.

Fantastic vibes with just okay drinks. Night we went, downstairs bar seemed to be out of everything! I've been a few times now and, while the atmosphere is always fantastic, the bar could improve. Either way, I'd still recommend for a good time!

The service is commensurate with it being your friendly neighborhood spot.. if you're new it might take some effort at the bar where regulars get warmly greeted.. the food was alright, there's nothing else around that isn't a full restaurant so what are you going to do..
