This is an excellent restaurant for seafood. Great food and great service. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. Our go to place for a great seafood meal in DC.

Salt line is the best- good food, drinks and service
We had really high expectations for this restaurant but it was a real disappointment. Food was not up to the standard I would have expected. Service was mediocre at best. Hopefully this was just a one off but sadly we would not return nor would we recommend.
We decided to sit inside because of the temperatures outside. We had a fabulous server that acknowledged us as soon as we sat down....he was very busy with other customers. But, have to say that the food was just ok. My husbands dish was good, soft shell crab appetizer. But mine, the clam sandwich, was a disappointment. The clams were tiny and tough. There was supposed to be slaw on the sandwich, but there was hardly any. We have eaten here other times and had a much better experience. We will go back and give them another chance.
Our waitress was excellent, actually, all the staff we encountered was top shelf. Great place to eat along the river. Prices are reasonable and they have a great wine & beer menu.
The food was delicious and well-prepared. The razor clam ceviche was flavorful with tomatillos and not too spicy. The Crispy Skin Rockfish was perfectly prepared and had a depth of mushroom flavor in the sauce. The Olive-Oil Poached Black Bass was also delicious. Service was good and attentive, but the restaurant was a bit on the noisy side.
Outdoor table in a great location. Shaded from the sun. Staff was very helpful and service was outstanding. We had brunch ahead of a baseball game and the timing was perfect.
I felt forgotten. No one checked to see if the food came out as we had requested and I could have used a second glass of wine when the food was served but it wasnât brought to me

Excellent Service! Dined inside but longed to be outside. I will visit again. This visit included a quick birthday celebration and my server delivered.
