Stopped by for happy hour and the quality and service was amazing. Ordered the grilled avocado from the happy hour menu and added the shrimp, per the recommendation of the server, and it was excellent. I can't wait to go back for dinner.

Absolutely beautiful covered patio, with heaters if needed, and fantastic service. Easy to order and pay through their QR code, and the food was the best we’ve had in a long time.The steak, gnocchi, and rockfish were all absolutely excellent!

We got the lox tartine, sausage egg & cheese sandwich, and egg & chorizo arepa. Good flavors all around. Will have to try their pastries next time!
I ordered the seared fish and the gnocchi, which were both AMAZING. The flavors, ingredients, every bite I had was so delicious. However, the only downside was the gnocchi was oversalted in my opinion.The decor, plants and design were a nice touch to the overall vibe of this restaurant.2 notes to keep in mind as of writing this review:1) There is no table service - you place your order online and the food will be delivered to you.2) You will need proof of vaccination and ID to dine in.
Absolutely best, authentic Colombian cuisine I’ve had in a very long time!! The customer service reflects the incredibly tasty menu - perfect combination for an amazing dining experience. It was my first visit - and a very memorable one. I’ll be coming a lot more to try the entire menu. I highly recommend Royal! I’m just so impressed and thankful to the staff who were amazingly attentive!
Food and drink were spot on. This is a hidden gem for anyone around Florida Ave. NW area. Go for the pork belly and the dry-aged hanger steak! Great array of cocktails and the staff is knowledgeable! Covid friendly guidelines/enforcement. Thank you for keeping us all safe!
Not a great customer service experience- got there a little early for our reservation, hostess wouldn't let us take the one available seat at the bar, in order to avoid "crowding", when at the other corner of the bar a group of people are doing exactly that. Half of the bar is anyway filled with plants for "socially-distancing". So went to Shaw's Tavern across the street.Got back for our table eventually, it almost fell like being at a spa with the hostess constantly reminding of our 2-hour time slot ending soon. Then you look inside, there isn't single soul at the bar, or at the tables inside. You could even reserve another table online for half-hour later.If these guys don't have a system to let people enjoy a restaurant experience and deathly afraid of covid, why bother?
