Breakfast was interesting for Sunday, a quick layover, and I was glad I stopped for Holy Communion first, as I did not want green eggs and ham. I was trying to be polite, and I went to my happy place and thought of my dog, who apparently fell in their deep fryer Saturday night and landed on my plate. I think my orange juice was somebody’s mimosa from last week. Fine spot for alternative television. Leave your eyeglasses in your baggage.

Worst $80 we ever spent on British food. I don't know how this place has 4.6 stars. We lived in England for eight years and had fish and chips often enough to know what's authentic. We ordered two meals of fish and chips, at $20 each and the fries were overly fried, dark brown, and super greasy. The fish was soggy and under fried. We also ordered the caramel doughnut, the doughnut was not even sweet! How can a doughnut in caramel sauce be bitter and have no flavor??!!!! How? We also ordered the fried tomatoes with some type of rubbery cheese that made me gag. The ONLY redeemable part of this meal was their cheesy cauliflower. This is some of the worst food I've ever had. I hate that we paid $80 for such awful food. This place should not be serving food to the public.

We tried the Queen Vic for Mother’s day and were surprised at how AMAZING it was. This little hole in the wall british pub was just spectacular. It had something for everybody, vegans and vegetarians. Also, the drinks were amazing as well. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. And the seating was nicely spaced out. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back again and try more of the dishes.

I’ve eaten many a donuts in my life…and these donuts might’ve been some of the best in my life. Not an exaggeration. All the food was great in general, but I will have dirty dreams of those cinnamon sugar dough boys.

Are you a Liverpool fan? Do you like good service even when the bar is packed? Want awesome drinks and atmosphere? This is your place. If you are coming to watch a Liverpool game make sure to get there early.

We always get brought here by family when visiting DC...and we wouldn't have it any other way. Always yummy! Excellent food and drink.

From out of town and got the Shepard's pie delivered my Uber eats. DISGUSTING! 50% grease and 50% food. Not even edible and flavor was not good. Do not recommend.

Was in D.C. for a few days, and found this little gem after a Google search for best fish and chips. Did not disappoint, the fish and chips was outstanding! Sticky toffee pudding was great, too. Fallon, the bartender as well as our server, was so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to visit next time I'm back in the area. Extra bonus for being a LFC pub!

I grew up watching the English soap opera Eastenders with my mom (she's a full-blooded Brit), so this pub really strikes a chord with me. While the physical structure obviously limits them from actually replicating the pub from the show with the u-shaped bar, the atmosphere is bang on perfect. My boyfriend brought me here for our Valentines date and it couldn't have been more spectacular. When we looked at the menu, I noticed it was still within their brunch times. My boyfriend ordered the fish and chips (a classic; you can never go wrong with this) and I ordered the sausage rolls (with actual HP sauce! Yum!!). I was briefly saddened to learn they were out of sausage, due to the Manchester game that had just been played earlier in the day. Our server confirmed this with the owner, but he said "Give us 20 minutes! We'll get some more!" I was astounded. I had been completely ready to order something else, but then I'm told that? How could I not give 5 stars just for them being so gracious and accommodating? To cap it all off, we got the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I grew up eating this with my granddad, who was one of my favorite people in the entire world. Getting to enjoy it again at the Queen Vic was like having my grandad with me again. I'm not ashamed to admit that I began crying (on my romantic date!) because of the joy I felt.Thank you so much to the owner and our server (I'm so mad I didn't catch her name) for turning what is usually an unremarkable day into something completely extraordinary for me!

Masks and proof of vaccination are required. It wasn't crowded but we ate at the bar. I had the stroganoff which was very good. I also had an Old Fashioned. Overall the food and drinks were good.
